It's Fixable!
It's Fixable!I've been very happy with this folding white cane overall. I recently had an unusual mishap where the cane became wedged between my car seat and center console. When I pulled it upward, the internal elastic shifted and the rollerball locking mechanism came out of alignment. At first, I thought the latch had broken.Fortunately, it wasn't broken. Someone was able to remove the tube that houses the rollerball, pull the elastic cord back into position, reattach the rollerball assembly, and use a shoelace to temporarily extend the elastic while reassembling the cane. Once everything was back together, the cane worked just like new.I'm sharing this because if something similar happens, don't assume the cane is beyond repair. If the rollerball is still intact, the issue may simply be that the internal elastic has shifted. With patience and the right approach, it may be repairable rather than needing replacement.Overall, I'm still very satisfied with the cane and appreciate that it withstood an unusual accident without any permanent damage.

Love that it collapses, I love my strait white can, but this one is fantastic! My O & M trainer gave me a round ball which makes this cane amazing!I love that I can just fold it up and put in my purse and not have to worry about it.For someone like me that has started losing their sight, this cane makes everything so much easier.It is very sturdy and so easy to change the tip, my O & M trainer says this is one of the best folding canes she has seen!
