Great humidifier with useful features. Comes well packaged, very easy to put together. I read the entire operators manual and set up the humidifier to run. (The manual is well written, easy to follow and covers all areas of operation and care. It's one of the better written manuals of this type I've used). I added water and turned the humidifier on using "on" switch on the unit and it started right up with a generous ultrasonic mist. The mist disappears/evaporates in moments and is cool to the touch. The mist level can be set to 01, 02, 03 corresponding to low, medium, high. The water tank is the lower portion of the unit and is large enough for it to run several days without refill, depending of the level of mist you choose. It runs very quiet. It's safe to use around children, but best to keep them away from it to avoid unwanted setting changes or it getting tipped over. I also used the remote, at first thinking it nice, but not necessary. I was wrong, it's great. Very handy to change all humidifier settings from a distance. I especially like the "sleep" button, that turns off the display for going to sleep (it turns off the panel display). You can also turn on/off the UV sterilization light within the tank with remote. I left it on at night as it wasn't bright, but actually soothing, and helps you notice the unit if you get up in the dark. The UV light is intended to reduce bacteria in the tank water. The main unit and remote both have the same control options. The humidity sensor reading agreed with a humidity sensor I already had in the room. The panel display alternates from the mist level setting to the room temperature. Humidity/temp sensor for this unit is built into the cord. Changes to setting are greeted with a pleasant tone. You can program it to run using the Timer feature. Setting range from 1 - 12 hours. You can also choose your desired humidity level. Great humidifier for the cool, dry months ahead. Will reduce static, and help inside air feel warmer. This humidifier also has a pop-out drawer for 'essential oils' to scent your home. I can see that being a great added feature for those who like it.

So I have multiple humidifiers in my bedroom, due to the fact that my wife is from a tropical region, and we are not living in a tropical region right now. She needs high humidity to be able to sleep comfortably. This one is very easy to use, and has the convenience of having a remote control, so she is able to control it from the comfort of bed, without having to get up or reach, or anything like that. She just pushes some buttons, and the settings are set the way that she likes it. This has two methods of being filled - the first being just taking the mechanism off, and filling up the reservoir (which is the easiest, in my opinion). The second is that there is a hatch on the top of the mechanism, that allows you to pour water in to it. The capacity is quite nice, at 8 liters. It is able to run, at a lower setting, for a few days (unless you like the humidity set very high, then it can empty in about a day, depending on the size of the room). This one also has a place to put in some essential oils, so that you can add it to make whatever room you are using it in, smell really nice, and not have to worry about any damage to the plastic or the tubing that takes the water from the reservoir in to the mechanism. There are also multiple settings for the display, so that you can easily read it, or have it turned off, while still running, in the event you are a person who cannot have any light when sleeping. The reservoir is the only part that makes me worry, with regards to quality of construction. The plastic is a little thin, considering it can hold 8 liters, and carrying it by the built in handle, while full, sometimes seems a bit scary. Other than that one thing, the construction of the device is good.

Everything about this product is impressive. There are a lot of humidifiers out there some better than others. This particular model is cleverly designed. First, I like the capacity it holds more water than most humidifiers in its class 8.0L (2.1 Gallons) and easy to refill refilling from the top. Just use a pitcher to pour the water inot if you don't want to carry it to the sink. It's very easy to pour from a gallon size distilled water bottle if you prefer. It also has a simple but useful remote and there is also an option to use a uv light to keep the water in the reservoir clean, free from germs and microbes that can contaminate the air. The water reservoir is topped with a pump that has a hose that extends down to the bottom. It's a good idea to have a bucket nearby or use the sink if you need to remove the pump from the reservoir but not necessary when refilling as long as you dont completely remove the top part, there will likely be some water in the hose so keep that inside the reservoir. The fan has 3 settings and the built in humidistat will shut off the unit when the desired humidity is reached as well as turn it on again when the humidity drops below the level you set. This humidifier is has been thoughtfully designed and elegant appeal. It will look good in any room.

I like this humidifier. It holds a lot of water and works quickly to provide humidity to my room. It is a cool mist, so you will see vapor. I haven't had any condensate build up anywhere. The UV light works, but I can't say for sure it's sanitizing the water. The controls are easy to use and the remote functions well. My only complaint is that it is a pain to fill. You can fill it from the top with a jug, but carrying 8 liters back and forth is not fun. Alternatively, the top can be removed and you can carry the entire base to the sink to be filled. This leaves you with the problem of where to set the wet tubing of the product. Other than that issue it's great. I give it 4 stars.
