Excellent fertilizer. (Attn: Shake well)
(2026) No more dispensing problems! The back sticker separates showing clear instructions to shake well. I imagine I simply missed that in the past. Itโs not obvious that you should open the back sticker. I shook well this time and it worked flawlessly. The product dispenses quickly. I used a small flashlight to better see the product line in the container as it dispensed. (2025) Love the fertilizer. Love the funky smell. I used it on my back yard in early summer and could see a notable difference in my back yard compared to the front, where I hadnโt used it. The grass was a beautiful green and had really filled in some thin areas well. The liquid seemed to have trouble dispensing properly though after about 2/3 of the bottle. Only water seemed to be spraying out and the liquid inside wasnโt dropping. I loved the fertilizer enough to get more for my fall treatment. Same issue with the next bottle. Another reviewer seemed to have a similar problem. Update - Customer Service got back to me and suggested that my nozzles may have gotten clogged. They recommend to shake the product prior to fertilizing, and if the nozzle gets clogged, to clear it by running the nozzle and straw under hot water. Iโll try that if I run into that problem again!

Green, Clean, and Easy
Back to the Roots 100% Organic Liquid Lawn Food is a fun, eco-friendly way to green up your lawn without the harsh chemicals! This 32oz hose-end spray bottle covers about 2,000 sq ft and is made with plant- and animal-based ingredients like kelp and soy, making it safe for kids, pets, and all lawn types. Itโs super easy to applyโjust hook it to your hose and spray away for quick, even coverage. Most users notice a lusher, greener lawn within a week, though results can vary depending on your soil and grass type. While some mention a strong smell, the peace of mind from going organic often outweighs it. Perfect for seasonal use, itโs great for boosting lawn health naturally, and best of allโno synthetic stuff here

Great lawn fertilizer!
I have been using this organic liquid fertilizer for several weeks now, and the results are truly impressive! The grass has become much greener, thicker, and looks much healthier. It is very convenient to apply โ just connect it to the hose and spray evenly. It is nice that the composition is natural โ without chemicals and animal waste. Suitable for all types of lawns, ideal for families with children or pets.

Some of my plants DID NOT LIKE IT
I was excited to try this plant food because I use this brand's succulent soil mix and my plants love it. I wanted to try something other than the Miracle Grow food, and liked that this said it was all organic and plant based. I feed my plants 'weakly, weekly', meaning instead of a heavy does of fertilizer once a month or so, I mix a very diluted amount in at each watering. I've always done this and had good results. So I did the same with this. After about two weeks I started noticing my monstera adansonii getting some yellow and brown patches on his leaves (the pictures are of the first signs of this). I checked for pests, no sign. I know he isn't root bound (only been in his current pot for about 3 months or so), nor is he over or under watered. I move him into another room and quarantine him away from the other plants, just in case. He looks worse over the next week, and then my philodendron brasil upstairs also starts looking unhappy. She lost a couple of leaves and a whole vine started to yellow. I check her and all of the other bedroom plants for pests, find nothing, quarantine her as well. The following week my adansonii just looks so sad, the philo isn't looking much better, and I noticed a couple of my smaller plants like my 'string ofs' and my baby scindapsus were also not looking great. I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out what's wrong or what's changed... Then I realize I did change their food! But this was supposed to be super good for them and organic and lovely!!! It was not. I don't know if I just got a bad batch or what, but it was not good for my babies. I took all of my plants and heavily heavily flushed the soil, and did not feed them for a few weeks. The unhappy ones slowly started to recover. The philodendron brasil is now putting out new leaves again, the monstera adansonii has stopped any further yellowing and all new growth looks healthy, string of hearts is looking good again. But the scindapsus died and the string of bananas lost half of its tendrils so it's got a lot of catching up to do. I am switching back to Miracle Grow. It makes me sad to say that. I did really want to like this product, but the results spoke for themselves.

Meh
Does it feed my plants? Probably. They aren't dying with me using it. But it smells terrible! I like to have a watering can pre-filled in my bathroom and I can't now because it smells like there is something dead when I do. Also, it's brown, which makes the water look brown in my clear water propagation containers. I think it would be fine for an outdoor plant food but just doesn't work well for me indoors.
