Septree 10 Stainless Steel Trays Food Dehydrator

I have been using the product for about a year, and it is working outstandingly. I bought it to make beef jerky, and it rocks! It takes longer to marinate than to make the jerky. The dehydrator is beautiful, sturdy, and quiet. Initially, I thought it was a waste of money until I learned how to use it.

I was looking for a quality dehydrator to start my journey of healthier homemade foods, and this was a great choice! It’s heavy duty and can handle a lot at once. All my food dehydrates equally and is consistent in its quality. The dehydrator itself is relatively quiet while it works and it’s not disruptive. It comes with so many different trays and hooks for whatever you want to make, plus a recipe book! That’s my favorite part as a beginner so I have an idea of where to start. It’s easy to turn on, just the click of a button, and doesn’t need you to constantly check in on it. Overall I’m happy with my purchase! This dehydrator really changes the game for my health!

Drying herbs can take up to eight hours+ with the filled four trays. Removing leaves from stems does speed up the process. However all dependent on the moisture content of the leaves. The control panel is simple to use and flexible. Clean up is a breeze. Unit is quiet when in use and upon completion, the finished tone emitted is moderate. Device positioned at end kitchen counter for past three weeks and because of smaller size did not impede other kitchen tasks. Great product with a reasonable price. Design is sleek and rounded; looks nice on end counter top for the drying season. Have dried strawberries, blueberries, Genovese, purple, and Thai basil, marjoram, and tarragon. Wolf River apples are next. This unit is a fine, reliable little work horse. Very pleased with outer packaging on arrival. Arrived in great condition.

Looks well made: The stainless steel parts look very sturdy, and the trays are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Dry everything evenly: This dehydrator has this fancy 360-degree airflow thingy that dries all my fruits and veggies evenly. No more mushy spots! Plus, it comes with lots of extras like silicone sheets and a recipe guide, etc. Overall, I'm very happy with this dehydrator - definitely worth the money. Works great. Very easy to use. The recipe that comes with it is probably translated from Chinese to English, so be prepared because there are some sentences in there that almost make sense but are poorly worded, but it's okay.

Very nice unit, very nicely packed and great accessories... however, the temperature is not accurate. After dehydrating several objects and taking longer that usual I placed an interior thermometer inside the unit. The thermostat was set for 140* but the interior temp was only 116*. quite a difference I set this morning to 160* and I did get it to reach 140. This could be an issue had I not checked before doing dried jerky. I suggest the manufacturer test their equipment before shipping it out. Otherwise a very nice unit... I can deal with the temperature variance by setting it higher.

I would not buy again. I am using it to dry the icing details on specialty bakery items so I cannot attest to the dehydration of most food you might want. My low review is because the manufacturer used white tape to keep the door closed during transport. Upon removing the white tape, it took me an hour and a lot of goo gone to clean the residue off the oven before I could use it. Then multiple washings of the door to get the goo gone oil off. I would have sent it back immediately if it wasn’t so large. The directions also need to be proofread. The manual was clearly written in another country and not edited. Even directions for simply putting the handle on, were incorrect and missing a piece… then on the last page beyond the warranty, there are more handle directions that were accurate. I did not experience any initial smell upon the trial run.

Excellent quality dryer. I was able to make very nice dry products without any problems. Easy to setup and use. Easy to clean. Good size, not to big and not too small. Just nice. Price is ok.

Eu gostei muito do produto. Valeu a pena. Aunda estou aprendendo a utilizá-lo, com bons resultados. É impressionante como tem espaço interno, consegui desidratar uns 15kg de tomates. Já desidratei bananas, alho, tomate, manga e maçã. Veio muito bem embalado em uma caixa resistente, protegido por pequenas placas de isopor, cantoneiras, plástico e por fim uma placa de papelão no topo. É bonito, intuitivo e funciona muito bem. Recomendo.
