Juven Therapeutic Nutrition Drink Powder Including Collagen Peptides, Amino Acids, and HMB For Wound Healing Support, Unflavored, 30 Packets

Great item. Non flavored was ok. This I think healed my wound internally. Pain has subsided slightly since the 2 weeks.I have drank this powder.

My old review is below. 1st: My doc and nurses were surprised at how good my wound is finally doing this week after being treated since July and asked what I'm doing differently- Juven! 😃 2nd: I found out on the Juven site that you can mix it in yogurt. What a difference! It's no longer awful and nauseating. I've been using 2 to 3 large tablespoons of Greek Gods Honey Vanilla yogurt or plain Fage Greek yogurt after adding a little vanilla syrup and a little honey with the "unflavored" Juven and it turned out nicely. I'm sure any yogurt flavor will do. Previous review: If this cures my wound, then it will be worth it. A sample of Fruit Punch was tolerable and that's what I'll order next time. Orange was gross in orange juice, didn't try it on its own. So, I purchased unflavored. Just don't! The only way I can tolerate it is to put in OJ and add sugar free vanilla syrup (which tastes sweeter than regular vanilla syrup) Then it's almost like a Push Up Orange cream flavor, but still leaves me a little nauseated. Gross in water, apple juice, plain OJ and hot tea. Just made a strong Irish Breakfast tea with cream and the only positive was to find that this was the first time it actually dissolved. Otherwise, this was the worst flavor yet. I will continue OJ with vanilla syrup and I always drink it with a straw, trying to bypass some taste buds and get it down fast. If wound looks better after this box, I'm back to Fruit Punch in ice water with a straw.

not sure if these really helped, but psychologically, felt like I was doing something and dr. recommended. The plain drink tastes terrible. I added mio type water flavor enhancer to make it tolerable, so in doing this you can make it any flavor you want. I prefer the orange flavored, while slightly more expensive, tastes much better.

The purpose of this product is to enhance wound healing, which, in my experience, it does. I didn’t see promises made on the Juven box or in promotional materials making claims that this is tasty or delicious. It’s not. Best to do what you can to mask the flavor and keep in mind that the reason to use it is for the therapeutic benefit and that you will only need to use it for the duration of your recovery. My doctor gave me samples ahead of my tummy tuck so I could try before purchasing given the cost. Bought unflavored, put it in coffee, and did not care for it. I prefer diluting it with a bit of water, then mixing it with something thicker like a smoothie, or oatmeal with cinnamon. I’m 2 weeks out from surgery and have a hip-to-hip incision. My doctor and his assistant both said my healing has progressed well beyond many of their patients at the same stage of recovery, so I do recommend it. I did have a very mild case of upset stomach and gas after taking it. If you’re someone struggling with other medical conditions, I’m not sure if I would recommend as highly --you just don’t need to be having gastric problems top of what other issues you may be struggling with.

I can not recommend this product more highly. I've been involving and helping someone with a pressure wound (bedsore). The treatment had been going poorly until we were recommended to try Juven. Once we started on a disciplined regiment of two times a day the wound started to improve to a point the doctor and the nurses were shocked at the improvement. After many expensive prescription medications and months on a WOUND VAC the sore continued getting worse. Once we started Juvine the doctor removed the VAC and skin is repairing rapidly and remarkably. For us the unflavored has worked the best, but the flavored is fine.

This item is great. No taste at all. I mixed it with my mandatory protein shake. Only way I could drink this product. Otherwise, this product does exactly what it supposed to do. I love the unflavored packs. Doc was surprised by how good this item worked for me. Try it and see for yourself.

Wanted to like this. I bought it pre-op (abdominoplasty) and wanted to heal really fast. Upon taking it I noticed it made me feel light headed for quite a while after taking it. And the smell and flavor was intense in a bad way. I persevered through it bc I really wanted to heal fast from surgery. And also I noticed it helped with cravings (possibly the glutamine?) A few days before surgery I found some pills that were similar (Heal Fast) and started taking those with Juven. Now that I’m post-op I have decided to stop taking Juven and just continue with the Heal Fast pills with a different collagen drink. Feeling dizzy after surgery is enhanced and I don’t want to deal with that or the flavor. I do think it impacted my healing the first few days though. So I think it works but at a cost (monetarily and bodily). Definitely recommend the supplement pills mentioned. No dizziness and similar effect (possibly better)

All my medical friends say it's the best. I am using it and no poor results. My healing is going as prescribed
