Great intro to salted licorice
I've grown obsessed with salted licorice. There's something slightly off putting at first, but it grows on you and I've found myself craving it after a while. So far I've tried the Finnish Salmiakki ruutu, the super salmiakki, and another kind all from faser, as well as the nordic sweets ones from Denmark which are very similar to these toms heksehyl zout. First off the salted flavour is very mild. Almost more of a salted caramel with the filling, compared to the Finnish kind I was having. It still has that tangy ammonium chloride sensation, but the sweetness and licorice flavour are all very balanced. I would get these if you want to try salted licorice and ease into it. They are closer to black licorice than to the quite strange salmiakki, but I do reccomend getting a bag of the salmiakki mix to try it out. I think they sell these toms heksehyl zout in smaller bags, so I would get those to try them out, but I like the big bag for the value since I kind of knew what I was getting. Again, almost exactly the same as the Nordic sweets salted licorice, but way better value. I wish they could come out with a big bag of the Finnish salmiakki, since they are kind of expensive. The next I want to try are the double salt Dutchs, or Gustafs, since I'm kind of craving that really tangy, kind of uncomfortable salted licorice like the Finnish salmiakki, but those are bit more affordable. Either way these are great if you want to try salted licorice, but not stray too far into the madness, but I highly recomend making your way there at some point. Cheers

Addictively one of the best candies ever
Anyone who doesn't give this a five is disturbed and is not welcome in my home. My son gave me a bag on a birthday or something. It is my absolute favorite and I have since bought many bags. I arrives a little soft but open the bag in the desert and a week later they are perfect. They seem to put an addictive ingredient in them because I do not tire of them.

I LOVE SALTY LICORICE
Texan here. It really doesn't get better than this. I bought some of the Larkids chocolate salmiak balls and they're nowhere near as good as these (no chocolate in these, the licorice quality). They're nice and chewy somewhere between a marshmallow and a Swedish fish. I highly recommend these for anyone that likes salt and likes licorice. Much more affordable than other licorice on here, you get a massive supply that lasts forever even when grabbing 3 or 4 at a time.

Good, not salty enough for me
I tried some extremely salty Icelandic black licorice and it looked a lot like these chewy sticks. It turns out the Icelandic version is much saltier, so this one doesnโt scratch that itch for me. This is hardly salty to me, less salty than the doublezout coins. Thereโs a sweetness to this that I donโt enjoy, but itโs a good product.

Great value. Great product. Very tasty.
Salted licorice is a European delicacy and this is some of the best I've tasted. And this large bag is a great value when compared to the smaller bags offered.

One of my Dutch Favorite Licorices
Grew up in the Netherlands and we love all different kinds of licorice and this one is a winner. It is so delicious. It is the combo from sweet and salty. It has a sugar coating on the outside and inside has the gooey soft salmiak. Delicious. If you like somewhat salty licorice you will love this one!

Bad seal on bag
This item has poor quality control. The seal on the bag was not good and the licorice spilled out during shipping. No customer service.
