Super Poligrip Extra Strength Denture and Partials Adhesive Powder, 1.6 ounce

Excellent deal, and this powder works far better than I ever anticipated! I have used tubes of denture "goop" for the last 10 years I've had dentures, but was allergic to most goop out there! When I'd take my dentures out, I'd spend up to half an hour trying to remove all of the goop I used to keep my dentures in place. It was a nightly nightmare! I have poorly fitting dentures too, but this powder does an amazing job! My lower dentures stay in place for 6-8 hours, and the uppers are still in TIGHT after all day! I have to wriggle them around to get them loosened, because the first time I pulled them out, that adhesive took a spot about the size of a nickel of skin off the roof of my mouth. Now that's strong hold!!! And no goopy stuff to get out of my mouth afterward. The powder leaves the tiniest bit behind that's easily removed by swirling a bit of water in my mouth. So this powder adhesive has turned out to be the best holding AND very affordable too!

This stuff works, I have immidiate upper and partial lower Dentures, I tried just about anything for my uppers, my gums are shrinking and I still have 4 more months until I get my Perms.I tried the paste, yuck, did not like the Stuff running all back in my throat, tried the wafers, the same thing, then I tried Fixodent Powder,I still had the yucky stuff running down my throat. Finally I tried Poligrip,WOW,what a difference!!! I learned a little tip from Denturesanewsmile.ning.com= I sprinkle the powder on the wet Denture,then I spray it lightly with water and sprinkle a second layer on. I can eat everything,my Denture is not moving and best of all IT HAS NO TASTE- NO YUCKY STUFF IS RUNNING DOWN MY THROAT!!!! It stays the whole day and in the evening I really have to juggle my Denture out. I have a little powder left on my palate,second tip= take the Denture out and leave your mouth open, don't get your Palate wet, then I take cheap Papertowels and wipe my palate out, it works!!! The Powder comes real easy of the Denture, I just rinse it in warm water for a while.I have ordered Secure, but I don't think I will be using it, Poligrip is just as good as Secure and I do not have to worry about all the Stuff on my denture

This powder works great--and as a bonus, it contains NO ZINC! However, the first time I tried it, I had a heck of a time getting my upper plate 'un-stuck' and OUT! So--- if your upper plate fits pretty well to begin with, like mine, be very judicious and conservative with the amount you apply!!! I had to rinse for a very long time with pretty warm/hot water AND mouthwash before the adhesive started to loosen enough so I could break the palate 'seal' and get the freakin' upper denture out of my mouth...WOW!. But it is truly a once a day application, keeps the denture completely and totally secure all day and also keeps food out. Great product, good price.

After trying numerous denture adhesives, I've come to the conclusion that no denture adhesive product will be perfect. That's not surprising because nothing will ever beat having your own teeth. With that said, I will say that Poli Grip extra strength powder was the best of all the products I have tried. Way, way better than any of the gel products. Easy to apply. Easy to clean up after. Easy to rinse out of your mouth.

I really miss the Wernets, but it's not made anymore, and this is supposedly the replacement. It has a little bit of a flavor to it, which the Wernets didn't have, but it's not disgusting. And it's definitely not as disgusting as those nasty creams and gels that take forever to get cleaned out of your mouth. The powder makes for a clean removal, with only a tiny bit of an effort to remove residue. I swear, the creams make me gag. This stuff holds well, though again, not as well as the Wernets. Did I say Wernets enough times? I've scoured eBay, Amazon, foreign country drugstores, private sales, you name it, but, no luck finding Wernets. OK, I'm through mentioning Wernets. This Polident will have to do. It gets 5 stars, because it doesn't totally suck.

Holds ok but the powder is a bit messy to use and it's hard to regulate the amount of powder to put on a denture. If you squeeze the bottle too hard, an excessive amount of powder comes out.and the reverse with a soft squeeze. I switched to Polident cream in a tube, changed the amount I was using (lessened it) and find it is easier, less messy and holds better.

Just starting using it and it's great!! Works and holds my upper dentures, even better than the RIGIDENT DENTURE ADHESIVE POWDER that I had been using! I do recommend this product to anyone that has been having trouble with their dentures stay in, slipping, shifting, etc.!!! Just wish the price was a little lower but the great way it holds, I can live with the price! Another great product that I have found on Amazon, my favorite online store to order from!!!! Another good job AMAZON!!!

Keine Ahnung warum es nichts vergleichbares in Germany gibt, aber das Zeug ist absolut zu empfehlen.

Uso questa polvere adesiva da un po' e mi trovo benissimo. Aiuta molto a mantenere una tenuta salda per tutto il giorno, dandomi grande sicurezza. ​Il sapore è neutro e non fastidioso. Rispetto alla classica crema, trovo che questa polvere sia molto più facile da applicare e pulire. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo e continuerò sicuramente ad acquistarla su Amazon.
