This is a nice grinder. I make sourdough as a cottage food baker and I grind my own wheat to feed my starter. It works great! I've also used it to grind coffee, also rice and oatmeal for gluten free flour and corn and wheat and dried peas for my baby chicks. So far it has ground everything with ease. It will get pretty warm after about 4 loads but I love it!

I use this grinder mainly for roasted soybeans, and it does a good job turning them into fine powder quickly. The stainless steel interior feels solid, and the operation is simple and convenient for home use. It handles dry beans evenly, and the result is quite consistent. Cleaning is also fairly easy. The only downside is the small capacity, so I have to grind in batches. Overall, it’s a reliable option for small amounts.

We have a 30amp circuit. Works great! Key note: Before purchasing, make sure you have a 30-amp circuit. If you don’t, the machine won’t last long and will continuously shut off. New to milling my own grain and wanted a mill to start out with that didn’t cost a small fortune. Found this mill and glad I purchased. This is a great value for the job this machine does. Came with extra blades, tool to replace blades and motor brushes that will easy to replace if/when need to replace. Grinds the grain to a fine flour perfect for dough. Have only milled wheat so far and it grinds to flour in 1-1.5 mins. Mill is easy to use with very little set up. Made of durable material and not plastic like some of the expensive mills are. Tips over easily to dump flour into mixing bowl. Had read other reviews that the mill was loud. To me it is a little noisy when start up with grain but does reduce the more the grain is milled. Have no experience with other mills to know how compares.

This thing is a serious bit of kit. Keep it away from the kids; we are probably at about 1945 safety standards. Unplug it BEFORE taking the lid off. But for fully compos mentis adults, you should be fine. It seems fairly durable; the base is chromed plastic, the motor housing is cast metal, and the hopper and lid are stainless. The analogue timer (buzz) switch is a little questionable, but I imagine it's immediately replaceable if required one day. I leave it out on the kitchen counter as I ike the steam-punk industrial vibe. I have ground up wheat berries with it, and it turns them into flour in about 15 seconds. I can't imagine what wouldn't be atomised in 15 to 30 seconds of WHAAAAAA!!!. It's loud, but fast. If you're trying for a nuanced grind of something like coffee, this is probably not the tool. If you want to blast something into powder, this is it! As a bit of a tool nut, I like that it comes with extra motor brushes.

I've had a terrible experience with this product (550g mill). Upon first use of the item, the grain mill turned itself off after around 15 seconds. I had to reset it and it continued to shut off after every few seconds. Amazon replaced the machine with the same product, and I had the exact same experience. The four got VERY hot, as well. It has been a huge pain now having to get in touch with the seller and wait for a response.

I have used this multiple times now and it meals wheat berries perfectly. You can do a cup at a time.

I love this Mill Grinder, ensure you give it some time in-between for resting.
