This product was recommended to me to use for my mom’s liquids from both her Dr. and Speech Therapist while in the hospital back in January (she’s 94 and has a hiatal hernia that cannot be surgically removed). It’s easy to use and mixes well. She hasn’t complained about the taste (win) The bottle may be a bit pricey but it’s more economical. I would recommend.

This is a great product, though pricey. Purchased this for my father and he reports there isn't any taste. It dissolves very easily. I fill up a 4 cup measuring cup with water + thickener and keep it in the fridge for convenience. Just stir it up before you pour.

Originally we bought the individual packets, but this pump is SO much easier (and less expensive). You can control how thick you make the drink by the number of pumps. There is no need to buy two different viscosities.

We were prescribed a powder thickener when my husband was diagnosed with silent aspiration. It thickened well, but there was about a quarter inch of goop left at the bottom of the cup, no matter how long it was mixed. SimplyThick was suggested, so we tried it. No goop, it mixes well with ginger ale if stirred slowly, and it doesn't bind in the colon. There are cons. Expensive - it advertises 302 servings per container. That's at Slightly Thick, which is the thinnest allowed. We have to use Mild. That lowers the 302 servings by half, and the bottle lasts a little longer than half a month. We survive on Social Security alone so it takes away from his end-of-life stage comforts. But he needs it.

Expensive but the best to use if you have a patient or a family member that needs thickened liquids

This is the best thickener we have tried, expensive, yes, but the quality is also worth the cost. It doesnt separate after an hour like the powdered stuff does. My dad can keep his water bottle all day and the consistency of his drink stays the same.

Easy to mix in drinks 30 seconds and it thickens

This is the same product that our hospital uses. Like how you can adjust the thickenes depending on quantity of fluids

Thank you very much for your speedy delivery. I wasn’t expecting this until the 14 th of this month and didn’t know if what I had would last. My husband suffers from dementia and is at a stage where he has all his drinks thickened and food cut small as peas. Your product works well.
