Heritage 1 Gallon Pitcher in Mint, Dishwasher Safe and BPA Free

Bought for my daughter in law Christmas gift. It's good quality Tupperware. She liked it very much. She always makes her tea in a one gallon pitcher with lid. The lid stays on tight. So if her children pour the tea . It doesn't spill out.

Love this pitcher, brings me back to my childhood. Great size and quality seems very durable.

I recently got a heritage Tupperware set and loved them. Wanted the pitcher to match. The plastic is very thick and sturdy. The handle does not bend under the weight of the liquid inside, which has been a problem with other pitchers I've had in the past. The lid was very hard to open and close when I first got it. My mother who has arthritis was not able to do it at all. However, after using it for a couple weeks it became easier so It must have "broken in" I guess. So far so good although fingers crossed that it doesn't become too loose. The seal is really good and has kept my cucumber water lasting longer than my old pitcher. It doesn't have the starburst design on the lid like the smaller pitchers do. I know it's silly, but I was a little disappointed. Even though you can't see it I do like how the starburst pattern looks and it's really nostalgic for me. It's also weird that it doesn't have it since in the product picture showing the closeup of the open spout you can slightly see the starburst design. So it must have had it at some point and they just changed it. Overall I do like this pitcher and would recommend it.

Very nice use it for my tea

These retro colors are awesome. And only $24 ($19 on sale). It took Amazon 6 tries to actually send the correct color of Mint Green. I got 5 Pink ones before I finally got what I ordered. The box it comes in only has a QR code on it and no indication of the color inside the box. So if the worker in the warehouse doesn’t do their job and verify that they pulled the right color, it’s a total crap shoot as to what you will get. I’m retired, so I have all the time in the world to return these over and over again until they sent the right one. But it was worth it. The mint green is stunning to behold. And the construction is just like you remember from the 70s. Plus, Tupperware improved the interior design of the lid. No more difficult to clean accordion surface in the lid. Just smooth beautiful plastic. Don’t hesitate to order a few of these while they are available. You’re gonna love them. I’m also ordering the set of two smaller ones that are available in similar colors. Love it!

I sold Tupperware when my girls were small to help with the cost of their cheer and dance, I accumulated quite a bit of pieces while doing it but my favorite was the gallon pitcher hands down. We drink alot of tea and that pitcher sure did hold up to what Tupperware promises it was the older version cloudy white with a red lid and it lasted 22 years yes I promise you I had that pitcher for 22 years with daily use. When we moved into our new home 10 years ago one of the men thought it would be a good idea to move the refrigerator with everything inside which didn't work out so well as they managed to break quite a bit of refrigerator items unfortunately my gallon pitcher was one of those it was cracked down the side I was heartbroken, I did not repurchase a Tupperware brand pitcher I instead opted to use Rubbermaid brand which did do the job but I always still had a little sadness over my original pitcher but couldn't justify paying what the company had hiked the price up to until I recently ran across this one on Amazon for under $20 " limited time deal" I immediately purchased it and let me tell you next to the Rubbermaid pitcher it makes that one seem like it's disposable. Everything about it is exactly the way I remember, solid,sturdy and just beautiful. I'm just sorry I waited so long honestly. So if your considering buying this pitcher don't hesitate because you will not be disappointed I promise you it's hands down the best you can buy.. Hope this helps if you're on the fence!
