Need to drill a dryer vent hole?
This guy decided he was going to move his laundry room, and everything that entails. Part of that project includes drilling a 4” hole in the roof to place the new dryer vent. Talk about nervous, I was! So on one of my many trips to the big box store, I priced out the cost of a 4 1/4” hole saw to use with my drill. Sticker shock to say the least. Went on line and found this one at a good price and bought one. It worked perfectly. Hooked right up to my drill, sharp and durable. I drilled through shingles and the wood underneath. Went through in about 45 seconds, clean and smooth hole. I’ll probably never use one this big again but I’ve got it if I do and I’m sure it will work just as nice next time.

Excellent value. Great quality and works flawlessly. I used it to cut a 4” diameter hole into the ceiling of my closet for LED downlighting and had to cut through plaster and lath. The saw cut accurately and quickly. I would highly recommend it.

Works as described. It seems to be 1/32" larger than 4 inches. Still works.

Cut through my Sequoia skid plate very easily.
I used this to cut a 5” hole in my 2nd gen Sequoia skid plate. I made a removable panel using fender clips and a scrap piece of kydex so I don’t have to remove the skid plate when removing the oil filter housing. This hole saw cut through the skid plate very easily. Took me less than 5mins. Save money and buy this if it’s for a small project.

Inaccurate size, unscrews itself - Unsafe and Inaccurate
Says on the side it's 4 1/8" and when measured it's 4 1/4". The packaging says 108mm which is 4 1/4, but the actual product has a different size written on the side. No way to lock it on the threads, no collar for the bit stem, so it unscrews itself when you stop the drill. There's no way to stop this from happening, the only way to get it to not unthread is if you are already in contact with the surface and the full bit, but even then it will absolutely start to unscrew itself. Hole saws need to either be reverse threaded or have a collar to prevent this and it has neither. Maybe usable for 1 hole if you abosolutely need it but this is a terrible product.
