We use these to ship out our treats and they work great. Super durable but compostable at the same time. Every company should be using compostable mailers like these!

I ship out tons of books via a popular e-commerce platform and have experimented with a large variety of shipping mailers. I am also trying to make my shipping supplies as sustainable as I can. These compostable bags are excellent overall. They are not quite as durable as a plastic bag but offer enough durability for my shipments and I have yet to find a compostable option that is as tough as plastic. It's a fair trade off in this case. The adhesive strip is very secure and I don't feel the need to add any tape to my shipments. One note: the pink color is slightly transparent and may show the contents of what is inside. I tried to picture this as best I can. This isn't a huge deal for me as most of my books are wrapped in cardboard for extra safety. If you need to be discrete in your shipping however, go with the black color. Other than that small quibble, I'd absolutely recommend these mailers for the eco-minded shipper.

Nothing better for the world than compostable materials. I love that it's good for the environment. It works. The adhesive sticks well. The packaging is waterproof and tear resistant. It's big and fits a lot. It's pink and loud, reminds me of breast cancer awareness. And it is fairly price. Highly Recommended!

I have not technically had any issues yet but it weirds me out how thin they are. You can see through the bag.

I LOVE these shipping bags! When I first received them, I was a little worried they were too thin and wouldn't hold up well. I was wrong! Yes, they are thin, but they are strong. They have been perfect for shipping t-shirts and other small items. I set aside one that I regularly use and reuse as my sample for weighing items before shipping. I have been putting shirts and jewelry in and out of that bag over and over for a few weeks now and it is still holding up great. *I have added a picture of my used and abused bag *I have received zero customer complaints about packaging as well. I love the color and how it stands out against other packaging. These are perfect for me.

I think purchasing packing materials that are degradable or compostable is a wise choice. These bags are a large size of 10x15 inches (can hold a decent sized pair of jeans), and the seams are tough. I pulled pretty hard on each seam and they did not tear or rip apart. I also pushed my finger through the material pretty hard and it did not puncture, however anything rather sharp would tear or cause a hole in the material pretty easily. These bags are durable and a wise choice if you are concerned about the environment. They have a self-sealing strip on one side and once sealed it does not open again. Very good quality and should be able to go through pretty rough treatment through shipping and keep your items clean and undamaged.

I wasn't sure if I'd like these envelopes. They are very thin and semi opaque. However, they are just as strong as any thicker poly bag that I use. I pulled and tugged and they did not rip. The adhesive is good - once it's sealed, it will not open without cutting the bag open, so you can feel secure that your package will not be tampered with.The bag is compostable because it's made of corn starch. I instantly thought of cornstarch peanuts that dissolve in water. I wet the bag and it was fine. Then I placed it in a 'puddle' of water on a sheet pan and left it for an hour. The bag was still perfectly fine, with no evidence of degradation.
