Best of ALL Chin Straps the LifeSource Brand
Finally a great product! I have eleven duds/chinstraps that slide off your hair, made in China and stink no way would I put them in my skin for 8 hours with the chemical smell coming from them. Others cut into my chin or they donโt have enough straps to stay on. I have two a Papcap and a knightsbridge chin straps that are like caps on your head flattens your whole head of hair and hot in the summertime. Finally I got a strap made in America itโs made innumerable and hugs your head in the right place and doesnโt slide off. I can tighten it on each side and itโs not stinky. The stitching is made well. This little chin strap works great. Try this one before you buy any other. Youโre going to like this chinstrap.

Caused jaw pain
It really works, keeping the mouth closed during sleeping. However, after a week I developed jaw and tooth pain. I tried tightening it, loosening it, but nothing prevented the TMJ. I've tried other similar products and none prevent TMJ. What does work for me is a cervical collar. It's awkward and thick but it does work without stressing the jaw muscles.

Low quality
Doesn't come with how to wear instructions. But I kinda figured out how to wear. It's somewhat comfortable, and doesn't interfere with my cpap. Plus, it helps keep my mouth closed when I wear my cpap.

I like mine it works well, I have not had any issues with mine and was going to order another one, but unfortunately they are unavailable now.

Strap(s) rubs against front of ears and face
While the design with dual straps across the top of the head seem more stable than just a single strap it does not fit well. The strap rubbed against the top front of my ears all night causing discomfort. Also, where the two different pieces are joined (the length adjustment point) on each side caused discomfort on my face as the strap is doubled up there. It might very well fit your face shape/size if the connection point is not near your ear but it certainly did not work well or fit well for me. The material seem to be of typical quality for this type of strap. again the issue is the fit.

Perfect!
I just starting using a CPAP machine in October and after I hated the full face mask swhich left crevices on my face, I switched to the nose mask which was much better for me. However, I was consistenly having air leaks, probably from opening my mouth, so I purchased a RES Med single strap Chin Strap, adjustable at the top. It was Ok, but it would sometimes slip off and unless I made it very tight I was still having leaks. I have been using the Halo Style Adjustable chin strap from Life Source for about a week and find it to be very comfortable. I love the second strap for support on the head and that both straps are adjustable. Most importantly the air leaks are gone!

Less Head Coverage = Less Eczema
I need a chin strap with my CPAP machine but I develop eczema under the strap on the back of my head. This strap has less coverage on my head so it is helpful.

Weak material
Good news it did not smell bad out of the package. Bad news is the material is very easily stretched until it's maximum material limit. Based on past experience with CPAP headgear this won't last. Plus it runs small for a man.
