Very poor quality, water does not stay hot as described….

I got this as an alternate to a tea or coffee mug to use at the work office Hot and cold duration - Liquids stay warm and cold for a long time, haven't checked the full advertised time but kept some warm water for testing at night and it was warm after 5 hours. Cold water remains cold for 8-9 hours of work day. The total time could be longeras advertised, i just haven't had a reason to use it for that long. 2) Lid seal - the lid screws on which is very important to avoid spillage. The secondary lid for sipper pops open with a push button, and it has a sliding safety latch on the same button 3) Design - black is a nice simple neutral color, with small branding logo at bottom, if you like subtelty, this is good. Also, did not feel the heat froman freshly poured hit drink while holding the thermos in the hand 4) size - 2 by 6 inches as advertised, it's compact, very easy to carry in a bag even in a small compartment, or keep on a table Improvements required : 1) height of the bottle - 6 inches is a little too large to fit under most standard size office coffee machines. I have to use a cup to take out the drink and then pour it into the thermos. Not sure if they are selling it as a tea or coffee cup or just a general purpose thermos. It can fit two standard cups of a drink. Maybe they can make another version that's about 4 inches tall, that would be good for a single cup would be perfect 2) handle - the only thing lacking in this is a handle to hold it. It would increase the size but would be great to have 3) placement of the lid button - it's just about a centimetre below the drinking spout and they are both in line with each other, so when you lift it to your mouth to drink, the button is touching your chin. It would be nice if they could lower the button more so it doesn't come in the way, or place it to the side. Also, the lid opens 90 degrees only, so it's also partially in the way, perhaps they could design it so the lid opens 180 degrees or is attached to a strap that opens more rather than a hinge. Overall, this is much better than some other thermos cups that solve some of these problems, but create others like a push down lid, that always has a danger of coming off with pressure from hot drinks, generally wider body that increases size

Really liked the design, much different from the usual coffemates. It has a matte finish, the button is smooth. Functionaly great, tested with coffee, held the temperatures for almost 2 hours or more. I bought this as well the white coffeemate. Both of them are great in their own way, however the thermal retention capacity of the black one is insane! It's able to hold heat for over 6hrs on an average, way ahead of the white coffemate, which can hold for roughly 2hrs.. The black one is tall & sleek, and hence much easier to hold, compared to the coffeemates.. This doesn't have the silicon base like the coffeemate But both have their pros and cons, overall two good products..but in terms of heat holding capacity the black one wins! Recommended.
