Try a few brands and styles to find a fit for your dog's shape
Some reviewers stated that the harness wasn't a good fit for their dog's shape. First, make sure to measure your dog's girth around the chest and over the back at the widest point. Next, if the harness has a suggested weight range of dog fit, it's good if the dog is within it. This is important because it often influences where the girth strap will ride (too close to the front leg "armpit" is not comfy for the dog). Also, some harness makers specify a neck measurement (around the neck just above the shoulders not just behind the ears). If so, see that your dog is within its range specified. If you don't get the perfect fit from the first harness you try, order a variety of styles and shapes to see what fits your dog best. Good luck out there! Fusion makes top quality products that are actually safety rated for the loads specified on each piece of hardware in the assembly. The products they say you can trust your life with, they actually mean it because they make climbing gear for mountaineering, arborists, military, police, and technical rescue applications. Good luck out there!

Great harness, buckle system could be tweaked a bit
I bought this to use as a harness for my Service Dog that helps with counter-balance. I love it’s visibility as my dog is all black and hard to see in the dark. It has Velcro for a couple Service dog patches as well. The handle wasn’t quite as high as I needed so I contacted the manufacturer directly and they custom made me a handle to my exact specifications and I received it within a week. Many harnesses out ther are made of cheap material and don’t work very well for Service dog work, but this is heavy duty and is safe to buckle my dog into the car as well. It sits well on my 70lb dog, but does not bother him when he lays down. In my $400 leather harness, he doesn’t like the belly strap and won’t tuck into small places with it on, but now with just the girth strap, we get just as much stability with far less straps involved. The only thin I would change is to have the front and back buckles on the same side of the harness, with them on opposite sides it can be difficult to get on and off...but that is my only complaint. Well worth the money!

Bulky/Loose on medium dog
I purchased a Medium for my 50 lbs Australian Cattle Dog. It arrives without reflective material. The harness is massive. It fits awkwardly and slips over his head when you grab the handle.

Rugged but awkward fit
Our shepherd cross weighs 33 kg (about 66 pounds), but the harness does not fit that well. My dog also hates wearing it, but we will keep trying.
