Very enjoyable lower acid
This is lovely. It has a nice rich, mellow flavor and is not very acidic so I dont feel like I have to put sugar or cream in unless I feel like it.

My go to tea!
I’ve enjoyed Kenya black tea for years. Brewed according to directions it is mild, with a subtle flavor, and a modest jolt of caffeine. A pinch of sugar brings out the flavor. This is appropriate for a tea party. But my love of Kenya Black is not bred from tea parties. What sets it apart in my book is how smooth it is when you drag into work half dead and need to be alert— and make a cup of tea that looks like creosote. You figure out how much caffeine you need, add enough tea (or steep longer) to bring you to the level of alertness you need - and there is no bite. It is like a good friend— with you whether the chips are down (or not). As Kenya black goes, this is a high quality tea, leaves are notably intact. It is also fair trade tea— giving people who grow and process a high quality product a fair wage. This is how globalization was supposed to work.

Strong & Flavorful
This is so flavorful and strong like coffee if you let a hearty tablespoon steep for a while. Perfect for a cold morning and for iced tea.

Great Tea, Ethically Sourced
We use ours for 2 quart batches of iced tea. The hand carved spoon is perfect for measuring. Being able to double steep the leaves means two pitchers at a time, though I reduce the recommended brew time by 30-45 seconds to ensure an even brew between the two.

Too many tannins
I thought it was a little on the bitter side - will probably not purchase again.

Great tasting, eco friendly
This was my 1st time with an African tea. I'm a dedicated tea drinker and prefer strong black tea. The African tea does have a different flavour profile than Indian or Sri Lankan. I really enjoy this tea. In addition, this company is very eco conscious, fair trade, owned in Kenya. They have refill packages for the container. I just ordered a 2nd type from the company and will re-order this. The only downfall was that they said you could reuse the leaves for a 2nd round, by steeping the leaves double the time. This produced a weak flavoured tea. I felt the value was very good compared to the other more premium brands of tea I drink.
