Oxbow Animal Health Timothy Hay Mat - Large

Girlfriends rabbit loves this, but for a large mat it seems quite small, will probably be devoured fairly quickly. Maisy tends to settle on it and gradually chew it down. Still it's exactly what was wanted and it was delivered a fair bit earlier than was suggested as the delivery date.

This mat was ignored for some weeks by my bun. Things have changed recently! He now seems gripped by a voracious desire to eat and destroy the thing as thoroughly as possible! It's taking him a while but it certainly keeps him busy and amused and attracts him away from even chewing on his cardboard box which was his number one fave thing before! An effective distraction to an otherwise fairly placid life... I also bought the small one but my gerbils made mincemeat of it in one evening!

My rabbit loves this mat. He doesn't really use it to sit on, but LOVES to tear it apart! It's a really great boredom breaker; a fantastic way to encourage hay eating. It's especially good if you have a pet who likes to eat their toys (which can be annoying as a lot of rabbit toys are made from cardboard and paper, which should not be eaten). It get's four stars instead of five because it is quite expensive for something that doesn't really last very long.

A good item, okay for rabbits to use and digest. My bunny personally preferred using it as a litter tray, but each to their own.

Purtroppo, qualche giorno dopo che il mio coniglio ha assaggiato il prodotto, ha iniziato a sentirsi male con la pancia. Non credo sia stato un caso, ma non voglio criticare nemmeno l'Oxbow, che è una azienda seria. Ma, purtroppo, non posso dargli cinque stelle :)

Nous avons 5 lapins. Il aiment gratter et manger leur tapis. Je trouve ça bien parce qu'ils passent du temps pendant la journee ça leur fait un passe temps (activité) de plus. Bon, oui ça fait du foin partout dans leur cage, mais bon si vous traité déjà bien vos lapins, ben ça vous fait juste un peu plus de foin à ramasser.

I can’t believe how much my bun loves sitting on this mat. We have it in front of her cage and it’s like home base for her. When she tires of hopping around, she returns to it. Sometimes she chews at it a bit, but it’s surprisingly durable.

I took off one star for the high price and it also does not stay together very well. It is a nice birthday present for your bunny, but I would not purchase hay this way on a regular basis. Too expensive and still messy.
