The perfect seasoning to add to a vegetable soup that I cook overnight in a crock pot. It cooks when you sleep and in the morning is all ready. Those complaining about salt content obviously didn't try this in a soup. This tomato powder yields a nice flavor when used in moderation. Besides, you don't have to open a can of tomato paste or sauce, and then store the leftovers in the fridge. Just sprinkle some of this tomato powder in your soup and you are all set. Will buy it again when I run out of it, and highly recommend.

Awesome Seasoning

This is a quick addition to pan frying vegetables etc. Adds flavor with no salt or preservatives. Great for persons on restricted diets.

Great product. Adds a richness to soups and stews. Great for Spanish rice, recipes which is why we originally purchased after not being able to find tomato powder in our local stores.

If you've ever had Panera's Tomato Basil bread, just know that this will allow you to get that same flavor with far fewer ingredients at probably half the cost. Only 10g per loaf means you can make 15 loaves of tomato basil sourdough bread in your own kitchen. I was skeptical at first, but 2 loaves in, I'm convinced this is better than Panera's. Plus you can add to stews, casseroles, sauces, etc. This will be on my reorder list, for sure!

The jar had no lid. A foil piece was across the jar top, but what am I supposed to do after I've used it once? There should have been a screw-on lid on the jar. Where is quality control?

Good seasoning. Works well on a lot of different dishes.
