Kiwabi Dark Brown Hair Gloss Color-Depositing Treatment for Gray Coverage

It works! Just leave it on longer than it says. I leave it on for about an hour. I use it about once per week. This is exactly what I’d been looking for-a no commitment, no salon, hair stain. It does take a few applications to really notice the effects. I am very pleased and highly recommend if you have a similar need.

Update: I've used it a couple more times and I think it works better the more you use it. I am able to go two weeks before I need to reapply and for me that's worth the extra time investment given that it is odor free and does not make my scalp itch like salon dye. Also it looks more natural as it fades away than the stark contrast of having gray roots. Original review: Works ok,doesn't totally cover, just makes it less noticeable. Also washes out sooner than I expected, after 2 or 3 washes (I wash every 2 days with sulfate free shampoo). I followed the instructions exactly, which takes more time than I thought it would. You have to totally wash your hair, wait for it to dry, apply the stuff, wait up to 1 hr, then rinse it out and blow dry your hair. Not a lot of work, but a lot of time involved, not really worth it for something that washes out so quickly. On the plus side no odor whatsoever.

Sold! This is way way better than coloring my hair with harsh touch up kits that leave my scalp so irritated. I don’t care that it’s not permanent and will need to be touched up… it was like a healing treatment on my scalp and hair! I feel like I’ve broken free from miserable hair color care. I don’t mind re-coloring my hair every couple months with permanent dye, but to know I can enjoy fresh looking dark hair uninterrupted makes me so happy!!!

I have read about this product in Japanese cosmetics review site and the product was highly rated. So I wanted to give it a try. I do have about 75% grey. I used to color at home with usual drugstore bought hair color, but was starting to be very concerned with hair damages. This product will not penetrate your skin like the usual hair color, so cleanup is quite easy. User posted pointers I've got from the Japanese sites were following: 1) Use on clean dry hair 2) For those with more than 50% grey, leave the product on for more than 20 min. (I did 30 min.) 3) Use plastic wrap or plastic shower cap (you need to raise the temp. in order for color to settle) 4) Use liberal amounts around the hair lines 5) After rinsing, make sure to hot air blow dry (also help with settle in the color) 6) Use non-sulfur shampoo to keep the color For first timer, you may need to repeat the process 2-3 times to get perfect grey coverage. I'm quite happy with this product and definitely buy again.

I have grey hair along my hairline only. I am giving two stars because the product completely covered my grey hair as promised. However, I was not expecting to see the grey turn orange and yellow with a green tint haze. Awful! I used black as my hair is a dark brown. I do not have the confidence to keep using this product to achieve the dark hair I am expecting. I will keep looking at the grey before I keep looking at this color that is not even on the color wheel spectrum.

毛染め特有のツンとした匂いもなく、洗ったあとの手触りがサラサラします。色が定着するまでは毎日使った方が早く白髪が気にならなくなると思います。ビニール手袋推奨とのコメントがあったので最初は使い捨てのビニール手袋を着用していましたが、ついつい面倒で素手で使用したところ、ソープで軽く洗っただけでは爪に黒いのが残りますが、体を洗ったり湯船に浸かったりしてるとお風呂を出る頃にはまったく気にならないくらいに黒いのがきれいに消えていました。めんどくさがりの私でも抵抗なく続けられそうです。

使ってみたけど、よかったです！手が汚れにくく（ビニテ推奨）、お風呂場でサクッと塗れる。特有のツンとした匂いもないし、むしろいい匂いです。洗い流した後は髪がツヤツヤで数日使用後には黒に染まりました。美容院に行く手間が省けて、普段のケア感覚で白髪対策したい人にはおすすめです。

ところどころ気になる白髪を染める為に購入しました！トリートメントということで嫌な匂いもせず、塗布しやすいです。 何日か使い続けていていると白髪が目立たなくなりました。

まず、説明書きに「シャンプー後、しっかりと水気を拭き取る」（洗髪後の乾いた髪に）とあったが、続いて「濡れた手に本製品を適量出す」と書いてあり、完全に乾かした後に使用するのか、タオルで軽く乾かしてからなのか、状況がイマイチ分からなかったが、取り敢えず、1回目は、シャンプーした後にタオルで拭いて、少し乾かした後に両サイドの生え際に塗って、15分強程おいて流した。結果は、黒色を使用したが、多少茶色っぽくなった部分もある様な気がした程度で、殆ど染まっていなかった。日を改めて2回目に使用した際は、あえて完全に乾いた状態の髪に塗り、40分近くおいて洗い流した。やはり、若干茶色くなった様な気もしなくないが、殆ど染まっていなかった。ただ、自分は、いつも美容院に行ってカラーする際も、他の人が金髪になる程抜かないと茶色にすらならない強い髪質なので、剛毛の人には向いていないのかもしれない。髪質が硬い、太い人には合わない可能性がある。 が、以前、風呂場で別の商品で染めた際、液が体に流れた後、炎症を起こした事があったが、このKIWABIは、そこに関しては、刺激が少なく、体への負担を考えると良いのだと思う。なので、髪質によっては良いのかもしれない。この商品で染まるであろう髪質の方には、是非オススメです。
