Great value for the speed
This switch is the best of the best. High speed 10Gbps SFP+ and 2.5Gbps RJ45 in one compact package. This switch runs silent, and doesn't get hot, easy to set up, external power supply, with mounting holes on the bottom for wall mounting.I have bought three of these so far, and have had zero issues.

so far so good
I bought two of these to replace some very old 8-port 1Gb switches since the connecting devices now have 2.5Gb NICs. This model (2G040210GS) is unmanaged and is non-PoE. The power supply is the usual wall wart design and is output rated 12V/1A at 12W.PROS:Does not get warm.Power adapter is UL listed.Has shielded Ethernet ports.Comes with dust covers on the SFP+ cages. For $42 it is an excellent value proposition if it lasts.CONS:No grounding screw. No rubber feet or spacers on bottom of unit.I was unable to find any product warranty info for this model on MokerLink's website.

Very handy
With the installation of a 10G port, this switch has exactly all the connections I need for now. I haven’t noticed any problems with it. It does its job and I don’t even notice it’s there. Very simple.

How did I LAN before this ?
This 8 port 2.5 Gbe switch rocks. I don't know why I waited so long to upgrade my home switch. My new router has qty 2, 2.5 Gbe ports so I decided it was time to upgrade my Ethernet switch.I did and boom, flying fast. I upgraded some Desktops NICs and used USB-C to 2.5Gbe on the laptops for testing wired connection. It easily tested at over 2.1 Gbps. I do not game but I can see the benefits there.

Decent 2.5G switch, nothing stands out
This switch is just ok. I bought it because it had the lowest power consumption listed in a ServeTheHome roundup of similar switches. Mine draws 2W at idle. This brand is more expensive than the other no-name brands on here. Nothing makes this switch worth any more than a cheaper option. There are mounting holes but no included hardware, and the mounting holes are so shallow it’s a challenge to find a screw that will fit. There aren’t any rubber feet, either. Other similarly-priced switches include VLAN isolation switches, this doesn’t have that. However, it does what it says. It works at 2.5G. I have not tested the 10G port but that’s a nice feature to have to make it future-proof. It’s not managed, so it’s just plug and play. My devices connected at 2.5G with whatever cable I had lying around, so it doesn’t seem picky about that. It’s just a switch. Does what it says.

Simple to use right out of the box.
my teasting showed it truly does support 2.5 speed.

Works great for the price
Connected to 2.5gbe devices and 10gbe uplink with zero issues. Keep in mind the cost of SFP+ devices when shopping for a switch though! The SFPs can cost as much as the switch!

Dead almost exactly 1 year later.
I bought the switch in March of 2024 and it no longer works in April of 2025.
