Love this beautiful home office chair! Very inexpensive too! Good sturdy quality!

I wanted an office chair that would fit in my small office space.. I saw this chair, and took a chance that it would work. Once it was received I could see. It was packaged well heavy so be careful when lifting. I recommend to get a helper. Once opened I placed all the parts out to assemble I had it together in less than an hour. The directions are simple to read I love the fact that it works with my decor and doesn’t seem like an afterthought. I would have to say that you might want to get a small cushion to put in the bottom because after a while it does get kind of tiring on the bottom I think it was a good purchase . My con is that the back support is a little bit lower than I would prefer but other than that. It’s a perfect size. You can adjust the height, it haas wheels which I like and it. Is sturdy. This office chair was worth the price. The back of the chair matches my dining room set so if I need an extra setting it’s versatile enough that I could use it at my table the appearance of this chair makes it look more expensive than what I paid I’m very pleased and would recommend this item

First chair arrived with shipping box in horrible condition. Took pics before opening in case contents were damaged. After opening box, instantly realized they sent me a RETURNED ITEM! It was the wrong box too so they knew it was a return. Everything in box was previously opened, hardware box empty with nuts and bolts loose in shipping box. Returned of course. Second chair came in proper box and brand new. Now to the assembly. It was pretty straight forward as far as instructions go, BUT - NONE of the holes in the wood line up correctly! I fought the seat back mounting to the base for awhile. Had to put only 2 threads started at a time and tap back and forth to get a second bolt started and so on. Came very close to stripping a couple of them. Next, the arms were almost impossible. Finally, was able to start 2 threads where arm mounted to back and then pull as hard as I could to get a bolt started where it mounts to the seat. I'm no weakling, routinely do heavy lifting but this took most of my strength to line up those holes. Both arms were equally difficult. Everything else was a piece of cake. Once assembled, I really like the chair, classic old school style, very well constructed. Not plush but comfortable.

The chair is beautiful and is exactly what I wanted. It is adjustable in height and comfortable. The wood stain looks gorgeous. Assembly was fast and easy. If I had to fuss, it would be those cheap, generic wheels that come with it, the same cheap wheels that come on every other office chair. I bought some new gliding wheels here on Amazon and they made the chair absolutely perfect.

The chair looks nice and assembled easily. However, I quickly changed the castors with roller blade style castors as the ones that came with the chair are cheap and do not work well. Over the 2 years of infrequent use, I would notice the air would start to release from the strut which makes the chair go up or down. In this case, making the chair go down. This became more frequent where almost every time I sat in the chair it would just sink down to it’s lowest level, requiring me to stand, operate the lever to raise the chair then sit again only for it to start sinking once again. I took the chair apart and it’s evident that the strut cannot be replaced as it is pushed into the seat base housing and not screwed in - it’s a very tight push fit and to lever it out would require more than just a screwdriver. Also, I found that the ball bearing “chase” to help the chair swivel was broken. There appears to be no easy way to contact the Seller so this seems to be a $200+ write-off.

I was surprised with how well made this chair is. Finish was darker and slightly more red than expected. Make sure you have a rubber mallet similar to seat the wheels and the hardware “beauty plugs” included with the kit. Some of the plugs did not want to fully seat, so I used a drop of wood glue to keep them in place. Purely cosmetic. Chair is comfortable and sturdy.Assembly took about 30 minutes. When assembling, leave the bolts somewhat loose until all are installed, then tighten. When tightening, stop after about a 1/2 turn after sharp rise in torque with included tool.I went with a packing damaged “very good” condition for a hefty discount. I was very very pleased with the condition and packing of the item regardless of how mangled the box looked.

I've had this chair for just over 3 years now.Recently something "popped" in the adjustment apparatus, and now it's very unstable, and needs to be replaced.Now, used this for work, so I was sitting it in all day M-F, and sometimes on Saturday and Sunday (home office).The good part is that this chair is what it is. You're probably not going to want to sit on it for 4-5 hours straight, after 60 to 90 minutes you're GOING to want to get up and move around.And it is a nice, classic looking chair.

I have a elegant wooden desk and needed a matching chair - this fit the bill perfectly. It was very EASY to assemble and is adjustable so quite comfortable for sitting long stretches. For the money it is an exceptional value.

Love it, excellent quality, all wood!

Being with hands of multiple tums it very easy to assemble, but if you buy the recommended caster it is abit of work to install. The only comment is that the chair does not incline back that much, but the product is just great finish is perfect and fitting is excellent

Love it. It fits well in our nautical-themed family room, was reasonably priced and reasonably easy to assemble.

Ein Holzschreibtischstuhl wie bei Philip Marlow!Er steht in Sachen Bequemlichkeit "modernen" Bürodrehstühlen in nichts nach. Ich finde ihn sehr bequem. Ich bin sehr, sehr zufrieden mit diesm Stuhl. Auch weil er sich angenehmer herumschieben lässt als ein Bürostuhl mit hoher und vielleicht noch unarretierter höhenverstellbarer Lehne. Ökologischer als die landläufigen ist er obendrein.Man beachte auch das stabile Fußkreuz, welches nicht aus Kunststoff besteht, sondern im Kern aus stabilem Metall (mit Holzumschalung). (Generell sollte man keine Kunststoff-Fußkreuze nehmen, weil diese leicht brechen können - bspw. wenn man sich zu sehr über die Lehne hinausleht.)

Sehr gute Qualität, leichter Zusammenbau, Preis/Leistung super, sieht klasse aus in der Kombination mit meinem Herrenzimmer aus den 1920 Jahren...
