I love this juice and their Ginger juice, too! Wish Lucy would make Tulsi juice, too. I take this combo daily. It works!

I bought the turmeric and the ginger, when I was in New Zealand I was hooked on a product called Turbo Tonic, basically turmeric,ginger, lime juice, black pepper and a little honey. I wanted to reproduce what I could not buy here. I opted for Lucy’s because I felt this was the quality and ethics I required, not the cheapest at all. I am thrilled I made this choice, I’ve made a pretty perfect TT of my own and now experimenting with ginger and turmeric tea. Cannot recommend highly enough !

I have really been enjoying this juice. I prefer to take a holistic approach to manage my health and one thing that I strive toward is an anti inflammatory diet. The benefits Turmeric are renowned and helpful to my purpose, but so far all of the ways that I tried to incorporate it into my diet it was a struggle. I tried caplets, making Turmeric milk and tea drinks and no matter what, my tummy wouldn't agree.So when I was given the opportunity to try this I was hopeful but prepared to have a grumbly tummy.I chilled it, shook it up to mix it all nice and decided to take the recommended dose of 2 tablespoons as a slightly diluted shot. I wanted to get a true idea of the flavor and if it was gonna disagree with me I would know why.I take the shot, am pleasantly surprised by the flavor; slightly earthy, slightly floral and a little bit of a tart tang. Nice.Then it was a wait and see. wait to see how my tummy reacts. 10 min, 20 min, 30 min? Nothing!! I found it! I finally found a way to supplement Turmeric into my diet that my body likes!!!I am very happy and glad I have found this.The fact that its organic cold pressed is an added bonus.Definitely recommend.

So I've had turmeric in so many drinks even as a kid, so I thought this would be perfect especially in the morning to wake me up.I must confess that I didn't quite know what fresh turmeric tastes like. I've only had turmeric in powder form and sprinkled into my drinks or as an ingredient in other drinks. I didn't know that turmeric is super sour and spicy! I would say it's like a sibling of ginger - but more sour and less heat.I had this straight as a drink and decided it would probably be better to make a latte. I attempted to do that but after I heat it up in the microwave it formed clumps. I didn't know that would happen...but there is a direction sheet on how to make golden latte. If you are in the business for making a big batch of these then this is also a great choice.I am giving this 5 stars because of it's freshness and obvious purity of the product. I would say that for those who haven't had straight up turmeric before, make sure you know what it tastes like!

OK, we have a long way to go on experimenting with recipes and usefulness of this, but I love a lot about this product right out of the box:1. It tastes like I’d expect. (This is not for drinking a lot of straight like you might orange juice, this is for cooking, for supplementing smoothies, etc)2. It’s a glass bottle (actually recyclable vs not really recyclable as most plastic bottles stamp a fake recycling symbol on them but in reality can not be recycled)3. The shipping is genius - they shipped that glass bottle very safely and securely but not with excessive packaging.4. Their website has recipes!One negative, not enough to mark it down, but still negative, is that the cap and pouring method are maybe not great. It drips after I pour, which I can handle with regular juices but turmeric is going to stain carpets and clothing, so just make sure to pour over the sink and wipe it with a rag or paper towel.

I usually use fresh, powdered turmeric in my tea (both iced and hot), but this seemed like something that would take it to the next level so I wanted to give it a try.I absolutely love they way they package it. It comes sealed in a bubble wrap "container" and to open it you just tear from the side and it opens right up.As for the flavor, imagine fresh, powdered turmeric and times that by two. I add a table spoon to my post workout (hot) and dinner tea (cold) and I love the taste. There is some citric acid in there so you get a little bit of that acidity too in a good way.For my post workout tea, I usually do decaf green, fresh ground ginger, cinnamon, turmeric and a splash of stevia. I will be using this in place of the ground/powdered turmeric from now on. I like the extra taste it gives.
