Perfect fit and does not interfere with keyboard touch. Slightly cloudy material blurs the key label a bit, but not really a problem. The back lighting is also distorted a bit, but again, not a big problem. Given the large gaps around each key on this UltraBook, keeping dirt and spilled coffee out is a important precaution. Contrary to some other reviews, I found it necessary to use the supplied double-sided tape to hold the cover in place. Note that this TPU cover material does not stick well to anything and you may need to replace these hold down tape strips if the cover peels up and the tape surface gets dusty over time. I would also suggest using longer strips of tape to better hold the cover in place and taping all four corners of the cover. The kit only had three strips of tape, so I split one.

This works reasonably well in any environment in which you have concerns over dust, crumbs, spillage directly onto your keyboard. However, if you are typing up a storm, you will notice that the layer of protection add a bit of resistance to key travel and the feel becomes a bit spongy. But for that matter, you can easily remove it and type away. Replace, and carry on. It doesn't interfere with closure of the laptop and pretty much stays in place when you want it to. You can dislodge it if you go to blow something off your screen, but that is a rare, rare occurrence.

I have a  UPPERCASE Ultra Thin Clear Soft TPU Keyboard Cover Skin for Macbook Pro 13 15 17 Inch  for my Macbook Air which I love, and this TPU keyboard cover works equally well with a slightly different textured feel. The UPPERCASE Macbook keyboard cover is more plasticky, whereas this Hoye Clear TPU keyboard cover has a soft rubbery feel. Both are super thin and I have no concerns about harmful contact with my laptop screens. I like this cover better than a silicone cover I used previously, which is thicker and didn't fit as well. This sits flat on my ASUS Zenbook UX31A perfectly, and covers the entire recessed keyboard tray so that any chance of accident liquid spills entering the keyboard openings is eliminated. It does not obstruct my typing at all, and any key that I press is able to travel as deeply as if I wasn't using a cover.Shipping took 15 days from China, and the package included pieces of double sided tape to secure the cover, but I didn't need to use them since the cover adheres to the laptop just fine on its own.I will update my review if I experience any issues with this keyboard cover, but so far I am very pleased with it.

Based on the previous review I decided to order this keyboard cover for my zenbook. I too had a silicone cover that I ordered from eBay but it is very thick and hard to type on.I received this cover within 7 days of order, with USPS delivery confirmation showing delivery detail from Hoye.Once I put this on my keyboard it is immediately apparent how thin it is, and how much nicer typing with this cover is than my old thicker silicone cover. This cover protects the keyboard and yet feels barely there. Great design and quality!!!Highly recommended!!

Excellent! I taped the corners & middle

Cover fits well and quiets your keyboard. Except you exchange tapping for a squeeking sound of the plastic. But since there aren't many alternatives and the heat problem is more the fault of ASUS, this gets 4.

Works as promised. Fits well. I've had it for over 3 months and have had no issues. Do recommend it.
