Does exactly what it says! you can 'upgrade' the balance weights if needed.
I purchase 3 different counter weight pouches to figure out what I wanted to do, this one is the one I kept. it does exactly what it says: holds the provided weights. I will say that the side straps that link into the helmet bolts could stand to be a touch longer. hence 4 stars. I found the provided weights weren't enough to balance out my set up, so I made my own to up the mass. turns out a 0.75 inch round steel bar, cut 2.0 inches long weighs right at 4 ounces, and fits in the elastic of this pouch. 4 of those bars add up to a pound, and leave on loop free for a battery. this works great for me. overall quite pleased with this one.
