Amoroso's Italian Rolls - 3 Packs by Amoroso's

No one sells these rolls in Tucson. Have used other rolls for Philly cheesesteaks, they just didn't cut it. These amoroso rolls are the best. I paid for the faster shipping and they arrived in 2-3 days. I froze them and took them out when I needed them. Perfect. Definitely recommend.

These rolls did not disappoint. They tasted just like home. They're a bit pricey but when you really need to taste your childhood, sometimes you have to plurge! I read a lot of reviews saying these rolls don't freeze well. I didn't have this problem. I smashed all the air out, tied the end of the bag in a tight knot right over the rolls then put them in a freezer bag I squeezed the air out of. They froze great and defrosted perfectly.

I grew up in a mid-Atlantic state and had relatives in Philly. Now live in Northern California and I can never really find a good sandwich. Not a fan of sourdough and most breads are either too dry/too bland. This bread is really fills the void. I use it for my lunch hoagies sliced turkey or chicken some pepperoni and the rolls are just right. I usually order a box every 2-3 weeks the shipping is usually pretty quick and reliable and the bread is still rather fresh. I do wish sometimes the bread cut was more consistent sometimes it seems barely split other times pretty thorough but overall worth the money. Until someone in California cracks the bread code I'm a customer.

amazing rolls reminds me of being back in Philly

I'm from Philly and now live in Missouri. Friends and family laugh at my love of Philly rolls. I ordered this after craving a cheesesteak. Well, tonight I had it on the only true cheesesteak roll. I received 3 six roll packages and they were fresh. I have done this before so I will freeze them and thaw one at a time as needed. I never had them taste different after freezing them. They are perfect for meatballs and hoagies and of course cheesesteaks. Thank you so much for providing a great service for those that no longer have the fast access to those things that remind us of home. I will be reordering in the future.

Heard these were the rolls to use for that "authentic" Philly cheese steak but being we live in the northwest these rolls are nowhere to be found... I've been working on perfecting my cheese steaks on the Blackstone but I just hadn't been completely satisfied with the various rolls I've been using. I knew these were out there but I thought I'd just keep trying to find something locally. I finally decided to spend the extra cash and have them shipped. I figured if they weren't really any better than what I'd been using, well at least I'd know and 30 bucks isn't an over the top outrageous amount to spend to satisfy my curiosity. Well, I'm glad I did because these things just took my cheesers to the next level. Look, I can only speak for myself. You may buy these and find them to be no better than what your using, so be it. But for me, I'll buy these again and again.
