I’ve been using the Minoxidil Hair Growth Serum 5% with Biotin twice daily since late October and I’m impressed. The liquid is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave my hair greasy. The dropper makes it easy to apply exactly where I need it (part and hairline) without mess. By week 3–4 I noticed less shedding in the shower, and around weeks 7–8 I started seeing new baby hairs along my hairline. No irritation or strong scent for me, and the two-bottle pack is a good value.

So I have been using the product for a couple of weeks. Its easy to apply, doesn’t leave a oily residue in the hair, the texture is like water with cristals in it. The area I’m applying it has started to show new baby grow hairs, and the old hair looks healthier around it. Over all I’m very satisfied because I can apply it let my scalp absorb it and then I can style my hair and go to work.

I really wanted to love this, but after just a few uses it started developing crystals (‑2 stars) that refused to dissolve—warming it in my hands, shaking it, pleading with it… nothing worked. The gritty texture on my scalp was the final straw, so I stopped using it before I could see any results.

I was a little apprehensive, not wanting my hair to look oily, when buying it, but luckily it does not make it oily at all. I still have yet to see how it will make my hair grow, but I love that it absorbs well and doesn’t even oily residue, I do need to advise though that if you are going to straighten your hair, I would put this in afterward, because if not, then it could slightly make that area look flaky, but it’s very minimal. I like the thickness of it and there’s no smell. Can’t wait to see the hair growth results.

Before I bought this product, I tried a couple of my husband’s minoxidil products to work out what I liked and didn’t like. Some products were too runny, and some were too thick and greasy. I wanted something with a little thickness so it wouldn’t run all over my face, but not greasy. This formulation ticks those boxes! I’ve only been using this for about a week but so far I’m very happy.
