I’ve been a loyal Derma Angel customer for a while, and these large pimple patches are a great addition. They’re perfect for those hard-to-cover areas like the sides of the nose and the entire chin, so there’s no need to layer multiple small patches at night. They stick really well and by morning, you can see the gunk they’ve pulled out — super satisfying. Definitely give them a shot — they’ve been a total lifesaver in my skincare routine!

I'm so glad I decided to try these. In one night they've almost completely cleared up my chin, (pores and whiteheads). One more treatment should do it, then just maintenance. Much much better than the Biore strips I've been using for an entire month.

We’ve been battling my son’s acne and have had a lot of success pulling pus out of his pimples with pimple patches. Unfortunately, these did nothing. Did not pull any pus out or flatten the area or make the pimples heal at all. They did stick to his face but were useless beyond that, sadly.

These patches were rather weak with every test I put them through. Most of my breakouts normally come in clusters so I prefer the larger patches over the dots. I have tested patches from numerous companies and these just didn't perform well for me. The backing of these patches are perforated but poorly done so. I haven't had one yet that cleanly tore down the center of the patch. One you get it adhered, it sticks really well. I have had some where the edges started to pull up a little but that only happened in areas where I am moving regularly like my mouth but it only happens on the edged and not the center where the magic of the patch is. The center sticks a little too well, if you have any peach fuzz or body hair where you are placing these patches, it'll feel like removing a bandaid. I use hydrocolloid patches to prevent me from messing with my face and these do well with that but it doesn't really pull anything out or decrease any problem areas without popping it first. Counterproductive of the reason why I use these patches and even if I pop it first, it doesn't seem to pull out nearly as much as other patches I've tried.

Hydrocolloid such as in these patches work by absorbing excess fluid (including puss in pimples). So if you have a big whitehead or pimple filled with puss, it will help dry that up which should help it get clear faster. It's less effective on deep hard pimples or blackheads. The salicylic acid as an ingredient will help some with those, but it's not where the patch really stands out. The instance where it is really good is large pimples, that you could probably pop but don't want to, to avoid spreading bacteria and causing inflammation. While all the science and common sense says it is useless for blackheads, I actually did notice it removing some (not all) of exposed blackheads. I'm thinking probably just from the stickiness of the patch literally pulling them out. Either way, it was a welcome benefit. So 5 stars for what they can actually do. If you have the hard deep painful bumps, I couldn't tell that they do anything for that and would go with a benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid wash instead and know that it will get better but usually takes time.
