Wonderful Book

Fed up of putting the telly on when my granddaughter was with me after school (the weather wasn’t good enough to play out) I sat and read this book to her. She helped select it from all the books suitable for her age group. We had great fun reading it, and, as her reading skills are developing, she was joining in reading too. Great fun for younger independent readers. My son who is 7 can manage this on his won and the characters are joyful. We love it. If you are worried that like some murpurgo books this could have be a bit gloomy don't worry not like that at all. Great to read to younger kids too.

My seven year old Grand Daughter thought this a really great book. She found each of the stories fun to read, and although it is quite a big book she finished it over the Christmas period, and I am sure she will read this author again. A really good buy.

Great for little children who love animals. Bought this for my boy aged 5 to encourage him to read the speech bubbles and I read the book. His reading is slow for his age so I'm hoping when he is more fluent at reading he can go back and read the book himself. Can't rate this highly enough for keeping his interest in books.

Looks fun so I hope my granddaughter will enjoy it.
