Dear Darling Oil Tint, #2 Plum Berry, Hydrating Lip Oil, 0.14 fl oz

I happen to really like this. A LOT. There is a nice hydrating feel to it, with a pop of color (Real Cherry) that is just really pretty to me. Keep in mind that it is a gloss first and foremost, so the coloring may not last long. But it sure deposits some color that lingers! Great coverage, buildable, and I find that it stays in place.Of course it all comes down to preference and such. There is a really negative review, which is fine, we all have our own experiences.. but dont let that take away from all the positive reviews. Whether people bought it (like me) or tried it for "free" (no incentive to give good reviews in my experience), some of us will really like it, and some wont.My skin: fair, cool toned, 40 something. Real Cherry is very red, blue based for cool skin tones. Little more red than I am used to but I really like it.What I REALLY Like it for is for use ON TOP of "water tint" lip products which deposit long lasting tint, but can feel drying. I actually bought this for use on top of that. But I also like this used alone. I do notice that it will wear away at the center like a lipstick does. So it may need to be applied more often if going to be out and about. I definitely recommend their suggestion to apply 2-3 times. I blot a little in between to help get that color in place. Would be pretty over lip liner too.

I've been a long time user of Etude House products and was super excited to try this product when it was released. I received the plum berry shade (#2) that looks more like a deep pink (instead of red like what the swatches show) shade in person. I really love their tints, but found the tint strength and lasting power to be weak causing me to regularly reapply it every few hours. The color is visible though regardless of the lasting power. However, it is super moisturizing and doesn't have a sticky or uncomfortable thick consistency. This easily glided over my lips and was super comfortable to wear throughout the day. The smell is very light and not overpowering for those who have an issue with fragrance. Overall, it's a great lip oil for those who are on a budget, but want great quality! I'm hoping they expand the shade range that is suitable for those with different undertones.

Tried plum berry, sweet apple, red oil. Unlike so many other lip oils I have tried, these are truly oils which moisturize but are not goopy or thick. These initially apply like a gloss but then sink into the skin. They all smell/taste great (like apples and berries).I have tried true lipstains before where the color sticks but they also remain sticky for a long time like having hard candy residue on the lips and/or fade to unflattering lighter and almost flourescent color. These etude oils are no more staining than any lip stick/gloss but leave no sticky residue and the sweet apple and red oil fade fairly true to color. The plum berry does fade to a neony purple so I did not care for that one.For the first few weeks I did not have issues with leaking but I carried it in a ziplock based on the reviews. Sure enough eventually it started leaking and/or is getting pushed out of the container upon closure and the excess has nowhere to go. It is too much of a mess and hassle to deal with so it's a no go for me. Such a shame, I really loved this product.

I own this in #3 Neon Pink, #6 Pink Oil and #2 Plum Berry. They’re plump but not sticky. They feel very moisturising. There is no taste. They don’t last through much drinking, but overall I like them a lot.#3 is very pigmented and leaves a decent lasting stain.#6 is basically clear with the tiniest hint of pink.Both are true to their appearance on the website.However, #2 Plum Berry is neither plum nor berry. It’s a very flat brownish maroon red. I can’t speak to its other qualities because the colour was just too garish on me. Sent it back immediately.

This product was released with little to no fanfare but I honestly think it deserves a lot of hype! The packaging looks unassuming and even a bit inelegant but this tint has effectively filled a gap that has long existed in my collection. I’ve been snooping around for a sheerer, non-makeup-y tint that wasn’t a water tint (wanted a texture where moisture wouldn’t be prone to dissipating) and decided on a whim to purchase this. I’m so glad I did! It’s probably been nearly a decade at this point that Etude House (now Etude) released the cherry moisture lip glows—tinted lip oils that looked amazing but left no stain and were quite slippy. I think in my subconscious I’ve been chasing after that look and effect but in a product that has more lasting power, both in texture and stain. From the times I’ve used this oil tint it has proved to be a worthy contender! The effect on the lips is reminiscent of the sheerly tinted, ethereally glowy look that the cherry moisture lip glows imparted, but the gel-oil texture means that it actually stays put on the lips. It’s also very moisturizing and nourishing. It’ll obviously wipe off if you rub your lips or eat, but an even, unostentatious stain will remain. I can see people having qualms with the amount of product the applicator holds, but I think it’s great for controlling the amount you use. I purchased the shade sweet apple, which is a very apt name. It’s a neutral-leaning red shade with elements of orange and pink that develops to be a bit more pink after some time, but not to the extent that it’s unrecognizable. It’s a very flattering shade that will suit a ton of people, especially on no makeup days. I highly recommend trying this out!

This product is a true lip oil. I would not call the color I had a gloss in the same way I would a lot of lip oils on the market right now. This has an oily slip to it, which is exactly what I want. The color is lovely, a deep cool toned red rather than a true plum, but this is a better fit for me.The photos show 1 layer, 2 layers, and blotted after about an hour of wear. It is buildable, but I find that it starts to gather at the edges of my lips if i use too much, so I prefer 1 sheer layer that I blend out with my finger. Layering this over a red lip stain is one of my favorite ways to wear it. No scent, fairly moisturizing. I don’t feel like it noticeably accentuates my dry lips either! Great oil overall.

I bought #3 Neon Pink #4 Sweet Apple & #6 Pink Oil. Pictures are of Neon Pink and Sweet Apple only as Pink Oil is very sheer. I might mix some Neon Pink into the Pink Oil for some color! Anyway! These feel really great on the lips. They have a really cool jelly like texture and leave a pretty shine on the lips. I didn’t find them to be sticky like a lip gloss at all (like most “lip oils” on the market these days in my opinion - for example: NYX fat lip oils & Inn Beauty lip oils.) These Etude lip oils are similar in texture to the Kaja Beauty ones, which I also love.I did just one light layer of each lip oil in my pictures! They can be quite pigmented so I used a lighter hand for just a wash of color as that is what I like! Nothing else on my lips. The lip oil leaves a pretty little stain behind once the shininess wears off. I find the product easy to reapply during the day without looking patchy or anything like that because of the gel like texture.Overall, I would recommend!!! Definitely a fan! Oh and the smell to me is very pleasant. I think it smells like Hi-Chew maybe lol.

I am giving this a three star and I’ll tell you why. OK so the ease of application is great. The lightness of the oil tint is pretty good considering that it’s oil. I also think it’s very lasting however, I think something’s wrong with how the lipstick was made. I purchased one in real cherry and a few weeks later I purchased a different color. Both of my oil tints leak. And this is not fun when it leaks because it’s oily. If you purchase this, you’re gonna love it however you cannot carry it around in your purse. It’s spilled all over my purse one time, even though I closed it. It’s not challenging to open and close this oil tint because it was made very nicely, however even my other oil tint keeps spilling. So you can only have this standing up right. I don’t carry them around anymore in my pocket or anywhere in my purse. I have the real cherry sitting up straight on my desk at work. And then I have the clear oil tint in the car sitting up straight in my cup holder. That’s my only complaint. Even if you close it completely if you carried it around, it leaks a little bit and I have this conversation with my coworker who also bought this and had the same issue. My only complaint is that it leaks if it’s not sitting upright

The best lippies ever in Etude house, Light weight not sticky not too shiny, bit long last.. I order # 2,3,5 2 is very cherry red for me top of #5 the lip oil which it should be like that on how you applied. #3 is plum for me top of #5. or sometimes I wear it alone #3 but other than that I love all the combos. ❤️ Been looking for this Etudehouse lippie here in amazon Canada first purchase last June 22 this is my second purchase now
