Absolutely stunning! Just as beautiful as the pictures posted, in fact way better than I expected. I gasped when I opened it! It is very heavy but that is to be expected, considering it is solid wood. Beautiful quality and I appreciate that it comes with proper brackets to mount it considering it's weight, they are almost like small French cleats. I was worried about hanging it with the weight of it but the brackets and they way they are designed make me feel like it is super secure.

Pieces fell apart inside the box .

I am hanging this (in landscape orientation) above my cooktop as the front panel of my range hood.My cabinets are an off white, my faucet is chrome, my sink is stainless, my hardware is brushed aluminum finger pulls, my countertops are white with very faint veining, and my floors are mottled stone/concrete tile.Everything is pretty clean and contemporary and I wanted to warm things up with hints of rustic wood.I have some thick floating open shelves in rustic wood on either side of my sink and a large open shelf in that same material above my refrigerator.This panel mounted above my cooktop is the icing on the cake.It's gorgeous.The colors and textures give a warmth, rustic and organic touch to an otherwise sterile kitchen. The varied colors of the wood pieces tie in well with my stone floor, and the textures provide a needed break in the flat front cabinet run.This is heavier than I expected it to be, although in retrospect I should have imagined that wood pieces in a wood frame would have some heft to it.The frame is substantial. In photos it looks like it's framed in thin wood slats. In reality, the frame is 2 inches thick.That being said, when I took it out of the box, the wood frame was splintered at 3 corners. Luckily, all 3 shards that had splintered off were still in the box and still in tact. Rather than ship the whole thing back, I just used some carpenters glue to glue the splinter shards back onto the frame. The repairs are invisible.It's very understandable how the frame got splintered and damaged though. The wall hanging was wrapped with only a thin styrofoam/plastic sheet (not bubble wrap). Other than the cardboard of the box, that was all the protection this item was given. 2 of the 3 wood shards/splinters that had broken off were stuck and pierced in this wrapping, so it's apparent that they splintered off when that end of the box was banged or dropped. It is not a light weight item, so I can easily imagine the box being thumped on the ground or knocked around during shipment. The corners of my box were all a bit smooshed and the cardboard was torn at one end. At the very least, a little corner protection would be highly recommended.Could they have done better? Absolutely.Do I love this? Absolutely yes.Any regrets in my purchase? Not a one.

I LOVE this incredible piece of wall art. Looks worth so much more than it costs. Just be aware of the weight… it is heavy so make sure you put it up correctly or say goodbye to your nice tv set! This piece is an absolute treasure that will go with styles from rustic farmhouse to ultra modern decor. Your friends will think you spent a lot of money but unless you tell them….
