Excellent resource for natural dyers and ecoprinters
Concise descriptions of Natural dyeing, history and MANY useful recipes, explanations of plant/color reactions with fiber. Also has excellent bibliography for additional resources. Photos of actual samples of the author's dyed wool yarns much more realistic and helpful than printed color swatches in the author's prior book. Great value and resource for natural dyers and eco-printers!

I love this book, even though there are similiarities in all her books, there is always new information to add to this process of dyeing.buy all her books basically.

How did your ancestors Dye their clothes?
Really interesting and well researched book on dyes used in early history in Europe. It is inspiring me to explore more sustainable ways to dye, including without mordants. Jenny Dean is, as per usual, amazing.
