Riedell Horizon Junior Ice Skates for Girls and Boys

Very sturdy good quality ice skates. The size is good, and they look great. I’ll definitely buy these again when my son needs a new size. It’s definitely hard to find black skates in smaller sizes, but these are perfect!

My daughter has been skating in this quite a lot for the past 2 1/2-3 months. They are very comfortable for her. She is almost 8 years old and the Size 3 Fits well with slight room to grow. And she wears a size 1-2 kids shoe (1 1/2). I'd say you want to get them sharpened out of the box. I did not and It was a noticeable difference in my daughters comfortability on the ice after I did. She is about 1 month into figure skating lessons and almost 3 months of ownership and general use. So I'd guess around 16-20 hours of usage and so far so good. Holding up great.

They appear to be a very sturdy skate. My 8 year old loves them. They look a bit heavy but all in all a good purchase for someone who is just starting out.

Overall, the skates work great for my 3 year old. However, they did show up with blue marks straight out of the box which was disappointing.

Nice soft interior, they provided space in the toe box, which was good. The laces were easier to tie than rentals. This model is seen as a beginner skate, and I would agree.

My granddaughter loved the skates, even though their beginner skates. She didn’t know the difference and had a great time until she grew out of them.

Fit well, comfortable, and great stability.
