Gave these a try as it says in the description that they fit most welch allyn models - I can confirm that it does fit securely on my portable welch allyn otoscope. They are made of a nice quality plastic - it almost feels a bit of a shame to throw them away after one use! I was able to get excellent views of the ears. My only criticism would be that it is rather expensive - at £17.99 for 100 pieces at the time of writing this is expensive compared even to OEM tips.

It does it's job. Perfect easy to use

This is a review for a pack of 100 disposable 2.5mm plastic specula for otoscopes. The "welcelln" mentioned in the list of compatible otoscopes appears to actually be Welch Alleyn as these do fit those models. The specula come in 5 stacks of 20 specula, all encased in a strong plastic bag, and then placed in a cardboard box. The specula are thin, lightweight and cheap-feeling but that's really not an issue for disposable specula. However, what is an issue is that the end that goes into the ear is partly obscured in many of the specula by stray bits of plastic. While these are only tiny strands, they are very obtrusive once magnified by the otoscope. Unfortunately, they are very difficult to remove and it would be incredibly frustrating to have to remove stray bits of plastic from around 80% of the specula before using them.

I have a Welch-Allyn otoscope and resent just how expensive the replacement tips are so thought I’d give these a try. They fit perfectly on the otoscope and I can get a good view of the TM, doesn’t restrict the light or view in any way. They taper a little less steeply than the branded ones, so perhaps will be a bit wider in the middle for people with narrow long canals. But I have tried them on several adults and teenagers now and had no issues.

These Otoscope ear specula Tips fit nicely on to my Otoscope and you get a large amount in the pack. They are disposable and save your Otescope’s own tip from needing to be sterilised between people using it. The tips are just as described and are useful.

Embouts jetables pour otoscope – 4 mm adulte. Utilisés avec un otoscope Heine Mini 3000, ces embouts s’ajustent parfaitement. Ils sont bien fabriqués, hygiéniques, jetables, et la quantité est idéale pour un usage régulier. Le prix est raisonnable pour 100 pièces, surtout quand on veut éviter de réutiliser les mêmes embouts. Rien à redire.
