This stuff is STICKY. Holy cow.
Wow. I have never used an adhesive tape this sticky. It works VERY well on the seams of my old camper. No leaks since I installed this and a roof coating. Im giving this stuff 5 stars because it helped me finish off the roof of a 40 year old beater camper. Here's the quick rundown: Adhesion -- incredibly strong. Tightly grips anything it touches. Moldability -- Very flexible. No problems here. Ease of use -- Good. The plastic that comes attached to the sticky side of the tape is hard to remove, but comes off in one piece easily when started. Also, as it should be: This tape is difficult to cut. Other: If you choose to buy this stuff, do NOT try and use long strips of it at one time unless you have help. I ruined about 40 feet of a roll by cutting strips that were too long. When I removed the plastic from the adhesive side, any part of the tape that curled up or touched a bit of the adhesive was instantly and permanently stuck for good. Still give it 5 stars for the fact that my dumpy old camper is dry. :)

Also Good for an Observatory Roof
I bought this for the roof of an observatory. The roof rolls off and tapes that become brittle do not last. UV resistant/outdoor/all season tapes from Gorilla and others failed after a year or two. This tape sticks well to both painted metal, vinyl and wood. So far is holding up in 100F temps and in moderate rainstorms,

Perfect Solution
I am a fulltime TT resident. I noticed a crack in the roofing membrane over one of the slides, right at the edge. I cleaned the area with soap and water, rinsed it well, then kept it covered until repair tape arrived. I then cleaned the entire area with denatured alcohol as was recommended. I measured and cut the length I would need, peeled the protective plastic off the adhesive side on one edge the entire length and gently placed it along a metal bracket running from the trailer to the far edge of the slide. Once it was straight, and pressed securely in place, I removed the protective plastic off the rest of the adhesive side, and pressed it up and over the roof edge, then took a hand roller used for flooring and pressed it firmly all over onto the existing roof. It states it will not stick to silicone, so I avoided the areas the appeared to possibly have some. Hardest part for this 68 year old widow was going up and down the ladder. Cleaning the area and applying the product was easy, and I don't have to replace the entire roof of the slide due to that crack. Happy Camper!

It works
Recently used this to reseal the roof of my 1996 Jayco tent trailer. The roof wasn't leaking but it was showing it's age. I'd recaulked the seems but didn't trust the 22 year old joints to hold up to many more winters without help, particularly the center seem. This product covered the joints nicely. I was careful to not expect the tape to stick to anywhere I had previously caulked, as the product warns it won't stick to silicone. After doing the center seem and mostly being pleased with the results, I decided to also do the outside edge. This meant wrapping around the corners. This stuff doesn't go down rolled edges without help (e.g. cutting to allow it to bend appropriately and stay flat) so I was nervous about doing the corners well. All in all I think it turned out pretty good! I started from the bottom of the corner, because this stuff tends to stretch a little as you work with it and I didn't want to end up with some ugly, visible and uneven bottom edge. I cut the product back at the two points of the curve where it needed to bend, just far enough into the curve so that I could overlap the top flap over the bottom and water would still run out and down. After all four corners were done I then wrapped the outer edge of the roof down to the top edge of the "gutter" provided by the awning rail. I did trim that piece to the width I wanted so that it would come out looking like the same width as I had used at the corners (which was full width). I then caulked a few of the joint areas of the tape and then, finally, painted the entire roof with a product designed for RV roofs. The final picture shows the final product. Now to see how long the stuff holds up...

Seems to work just fine.
This product appears to be very similar to a Butyl putty tape, however Beech Lane may have their own proprietary mix to make this product. I installed the tape about a week ago, and haven't had any rain here in sunny California yet, however I have had some mornings with thick fog, and dripping morning dew, and I can report no leaks so far. This tape has also experienced 120 F weather, which seems to have actually helped the tape stick tighter to my aluminum roof and purge any bubbles or wrinkles. The tape does have some ability to stretch, and it may be possible to do some slight curves (As I made some curves by accident while applying). However, I have noticed that if I stretched the tape at all, during hot weather, the tape will return to it's original length. The tape took quite a while to ship due to COVID 19, so I was forced to use DAP ALEX caulking between the seams on my roof to keep morning dew from leaking through. For those who are wondering, this tape does not seem to stick to DAP caulking products. For me, this didn't turn out to be a major problem, but please be aware. I will make further updates to this review in the future as time goes on, if Amazon allows for editing reviews.

Strong enough to hold my marriage together.
Used this to fix a hole at the bottom of my pool! 2 years ago! Still holding up. Stuff is sticky like ice&water. Also patched around wire and plumbing in my camper to stop the mice from traveling. Pretty stretchy. Great tape

Every RV owner should keep this on hand
Every RV owner should keep this tape in their toolkit. All RV's will leak eventually, trust me! After fixing up 3 water damaged RV's I wish I would have known about this tape with the first 2 RV's. I have used this tape on all my slides. I had fungus growing in my cupboards prior to finding this product. I used it on all the edges and seams. My RV has gone from leaking like a sieve to totally dry inside, for 3 years so far. It is easy to work with if you take your time. It has a very sticky tar like backing that has a clear backing you take off as you roll tge tape on. I used a blow dryer to soften the tar once I had it down and then rolled it with a rolling pin to get the air pockets out and make sure it was sealed right to the edge. Once it is down, there is no way you will ever get it up, so take your time and get it right the first time. I also used it to seal a crack in fiberglass from where the previous owner backed into something. I used the white tape and it hardly shows. Excelkent

Works better than you think
If you're sick of flexsealing your RV seams, can't find a leak in a seam or need yo patch a hole this stuff works! It's wide enough to cover 2 seams on your slide if you dont need 4 inches of width than cut it in half for extra length; it's flexible and durable. It's not as noticeable as you think and if you use a blow dryer to warm it up you can really get it tight so corners.
