This item is AMAZING!! It helps prevent your dog from chewing the stick all the way down and accidentally swallowing a piece that's a little too big.MY ONLY COMPLAINT: my dog continued to chew it even after the stick was only a little nub. She chewed so much that now the screw is almost impossible to loosen/tighten so it's basically impossible to use anymore. I ended up buying another and i take it away once she's done chewing on the actual stick to prevent her from chewing on the toy.

I bought this for my Australian Shepherd puppy. The holder is great. But you have to get it in there tight. The bully sticks fit well in the holder and are good quality but some are a little too skinny or weirdly shaped. Sometimes I use pliers to tighten them in there. And she spends a lot time trying to get the left over piece out which keeps her busy for a long time. I love this product.

I really like this kit because it comes with a little plastic mason jar and bully sticks (they STINK! This helps contain the smell), but the holder itself doesn’t work very well. If you have a dog that just chews the bully stick, you’re fine! That was our first experience.However, if you have a dog like mine that uses the holder as a weapon and tosses things in the air, everything will fly out with gusto after a few minutes. I’m mixed on my feelings with this. For the holder and bully sticks alone, it’s not worth the cost. If you have a gentle dog who aggressively chews but doesn’t throw things, you’ll be fine. I do not. He loves it though, on its own.

This device is perfect for dogs who like bully sticks. If you put the bully stick correctly into the device, it stays there and the dog can chew the stick from both sides. (Make sure the “screw” goes right on top of the groove in the bully stick and then make sure you tighten the device strongly.)Our dog, who uses this device has now learned to bring it to us whenever he wants a bully stick and we all make a big production out of it. (He doesn’t get one every time, though).I think the device is over priced, but to us, it’s worth it. Highly recommend it.Little side note: our other dog, who is not as an aggressive chewer, always gets the piece that’s left over.

Buy this one. Even though sold in bundle, this holder is better as it works to keep pup from swallowing little piece left. Can finger tighten, and one I bought individually needs vice grips to tighten and even then didn’t hold little end piece. Didn’t appreciate having to buy bundle with jar, but these sticks stink, so I do use it. Amazed that dogs can damage the hard plastic holder made of, so don’t let them use unsupervised. Larger one in photo is one in this bundle. I am buying another of this bundle so both dogs have.

I have a very active two year old golden retriever that loves to chew on bully sticks. I worry about him choking on or swallowing the last inches of the sticks in one gulp. I have tried using various rubber holders and toys to hold the bully stick, both as a safety measure and as something that he can hold in his paws to manipulate the stick as he chews on it. The Bully Buddy works so well- it is solid, the screw mechanism holds the stick firmly in place, and my dog loves carrying it around while he chews on the stick. When he’s chewed as far as he can, I take the last inch of the stick out of the Bully Buddy. No more choking worries!

My dog is obsessed with bully sticks, but he chews half and swallows the other half...not safe. I saw a Rubydoobydo (may she rest in peace) video where she had one of these holders and knew my guy needed one. This thing is SUPER sturdy and VERY easy to use. My guy was super psyched to see the bully stick, tried to pick it up to chew it and noped out of there so fast. He will NOT chew his bully stick while it's held by this thing. I keep offering it to him and he'll try to pick up the stick, drop it, and walk off. I'm super bummed because this thing wasn't cheap and swallowing his bully sticks whole is a surgery waiting to happen. Oh well.

Our dog chewed his Bow Wow “safety fit” bully stick* until it was level to the blue nylon holder (without damaging the holder) . He’s a tough chewer! No matter how hard he pulled he couldn’t get out the last inch of bully stick (preventing the risk of choking). This rates 5 of 5 ⭐️s from me.*In the starter kit comes “safety fit” bully sticks. I’m not sure if other sticks would fit as tightly but I’m ok with ordering more Bow Wow sticks for ease of mind for us and ease of risk for our dog. The air-tight container is nicely labeled for storage; another plus. 👍🏼

Bow Wow Labs is amazing! I am so excited that they are on Amazon so I could get it from Canada. The bully stick holder is so durable and will last for a lifetime of dogs! The bully sticks are also my dogs favorite!! I would 200% recommend this product for anyone!! 😊
