RangerDina Wakley Media Scribble Stick, Multicolor

The new colors are an awesome addition to the first set of the Scribble Sticks. They dilute easily even on untreated paper. They react to water wonderfully when using a wet brush directly on the stick, and a wet rubber stamp picks up the pigment perfectly. I tested them on watercolor paper and had no problems with complete dilution of the pigments. Since they aren’t wax based I can easily stamp over the pigments, and use all kinds of other media right over them. The pigments do slightly reactivate with water after they dry so be aware of that. Overall these are a great art supply and I love them.

I hesitated to buy these, box 1 and 2, I thought maybe they were like Derwent Inktense in use. But I am impressed with them already. They are quick to lay down an underpainting and easy to blend. Radiant in color and versatile in surface. I think more versatile than Inktense, so less to carry when I travel. Always a good thing. I wasn't impressed with the tin box presentation. I think this should be rethought to be more attractive, more practical (e.g. why all the wasted space) and something a little unique would be nice. What about a travel kit with half size sticks and pad in a unit. I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of these. Also now turned on to Dina on YouTube. Thanks.

These are the creamest crayons that can be used to watercolor with! Love using them!Only thing that I don't like is that there is not enough hours in the day to sit and color!

These are great! You can use them like crayons, but I really love putting a wet paintbrush on the tip and picking up color, then painting with it. You can also put it on the paper then add water, much like you would with a watercolor pencil. The colors are VERY nice. I prefer bright colors just as a general rule, and these have a lot of good, bright colors. There are also some more muted colors. I have 3 sets, so I'm referring to all of the sets, not just this one.

these crayons are such fun to use. and you can manipulate the colors just by using more color, water or less of either. I love the storage case too, keeps them safe from breakage. thank you!

The product was received in a timely manner and met all my expectations. I have not had a chance to use the product yet, but am sure it will be great

Scribble sticks: Just okay using them dry, better to dip them in water, terrible using a wet paintbrush as it erases themNot too much better on Black paper...Save some $$$ Purchase Watercolor pencils & a water-pen/brush.

I’m no professional artist but the picture shows how vibrant the colours are. These crayons become paint when water is added. Fabulous fun.
