This carpet freshener is an absolute gem. It takes about five seconds to apply and leaves the room smelling like you have just cleaned from top to bottom, even if you definitely have not. A quick shake across the carpet and suddenly it smells like you live in a hotel lobby rather than a house full of pets and biscuit crumbs. The scent is strong without being overpowering, and it lasts longer than expected. Even two hours after use, you can still catch pleasant wafts when you walk across the room. It is ideal for quick freshen ups before guests arrive, or after a suspicious spill that smells worse than it looks. It is easy to apply, though it can puff up a bit if you get carried away. You do not need much to notice a difference, which means a single tub lasts longer than you might think. Just be sure to vacuum afterwards unless you want powdery footprints everywhere. For the price, it is a fantastic household product that delivers every time. It is become a regular addition to the cleaning cupboard and is just as effective as pricier brands.

Genuinely fantastic, makes the carpets smell great and super easy to use, just sprinkle a bit on the floor, leave it a few minutes to really soak in, then vacuum, easy as that. A single bottle should last a while unless you're really pouring it out but even then I don't blame you, it smells amazing.

It smells really good when you sprinkle it across the carpet. But even if you have left it for a couple of minutes before vacuuming, as the instructions say, the smell doesn’t last that long. For me, it lasted probably only 8 hours. It is easy to vacuum from the carpet and I wouldn’t mind using it again.

When your carpets carry the scent of a damp dog or last week's favourite curry, this little product does a decent job of improving the air quality. It has a refreshing citrus aroma, which, although lively, doesn't quite last until the next morning. You will need to use a fair amount of this powder for the full effect. My main concern is that the 400g bottle seems to disappear after just a few liberal shakes across the floor, much like seasoning a steak with a heavy hand. On the plus side, it's incredibly easy to use: just sprinkle it around the house after convincing the toddler that it's not play sand. Despite its brief scent, the product is effective in dealing with unwanted odours, although it requires a bit more vacuuming effort than expected. It's quite useful for those occasional refresh sessions when the living room carpet matches the garden lawn.

Smells lovely

This has a lovely zingy citrus scent but lacks longevity of scent. I've scattered this on the carpet and left it overnight but it's never a strong scent to open the door to the following morning, and even less strong after you've vacuumed it all away. What it does do well is remove the smell of dog from our carpets; we notice a vast improvement after using this. So it does work! We do seem to have to use most of a bottle across our downstairs rooms for one "treatment" so it's not something I really wish to use weekly. But it's worth using for the occasional freshen up. It also seems to take quite a lot more vacuuming out of the carpet than other brands we've used although it does all vacuum out.
