Decent range. Easy to configure. So farworking fine after six months of use.

No issue with setup. Advertised up to 600mbps and sadly whatever position I put it in ( i.e very close and line of sight) , it clearly cant make a throughput over 385. That's not acceptable because it's nowhere near my own routers output. ( 530 to my galaxy phone). I have kept it because for £30 it does a job on range boosting but others should be aware of its actual limitations.

So I bought this as my existing router is performing poorly. The router is the length of the house and a floor down. I set this up and it's approx 8 feet from me. Despite this the signal is the same and the speed is much poorer. Ot was also a nightmare to set up and continuously wouldn't log in, no matter what I done. Not recommended.

Don't generally leave reviews - easy to setup, works like a dream. I have 150m broadband and get 150 from this extender so champion.

Working fine until the unit suddenly failed on me. It's now dead, no lights on power on. In use for less than a year.

My usecase was to provide a hardwired ethernet port to a 5G modem that was WiFi only (not actually caring about the repeater part). Importantly, this particular model (MERCUSYS 2024 Newest WiFi Extender, WiFi Booster, WiFi Repeater, 1900Mbps Ultraxtend Home Internet Signal Booster with Gigabit Port) includes a full Gigabit port for theoretical Ethernet speeds of 1Gpbs, though obviously the repeating WiFi won't reach that - but I've easily achieved 500 Mbps from it. Most repeaters at this price only support 100Mbps ethernet! Considering I paid only £26 for this on sale, it is an actual bargain. It's faster than most repeaters, has good WiFi range Positives: - It allows you to extend separate 2.4 & 5Ghz networks - It allows you to individually turn off wireless repeating each of those networks (leaving them to output only the the Ethernet port), which is perfect for me as I'm using the Ethernet port to provide internet to another router that has WiFi on it, thereby helping me reduce WiFi noise/traffic.

Just bought this to replace my old Netgear AC750, and works just I hoped. The AC750 would only use about half our BT broadband's speed (20Mbps vs 40-50Mbps) whereas this gets the full speed over wifi. Very easy to setup and does just what I need. Only just got it, but so far seems great. Bought during what seems like an Amazon offer for 25 pounds, which is a great price. Updated - the device still works ok, though I am a bit disappointed by its range. So I've reduced 5* to 4* in review. Despite having 4 big aerials its 5Ghz range seems no better or possibly worse than my 4-year old laptop. Its not quite helping me extend range as much as I hoped. May have to get a powerline-wifi combo instead.
