Not a Smoothie Drinker?
I'm not a smoothie drinker but I needed ways to add protien to my diet. I tried protein powder in the past but it made me naucious. My 94 year old mom swears by this for smoothies so I tried it out — and surprise it was gentle on my stomach. So what do you use it for you might ask - well I love to add it to my iced coffee I make. My favorite is to add about a half scoop to individual size yogurts with a few dark chocolate chips and sometimes I'll add a few chopped pecans as well! No chaulkiness taste and 22grams of protein each scoop which easily adds to my daily protein goal!

Good product!
It’s working for me so far. You’ll get used to the taste after a while. However I always add one teaspoon of creatine to my serving portion.

GRAINY TEXTURE
the taste is fine. but the TEXTURE? oh my god it’s so grainy even in a smoothie. even after making it in a smoothie and letting it sit in the fridge. i seriously don’t even want to drink it. yeah yeah yeah all the benefits of the healthy blend but i don’t care. would rather have the protein powder that makes me bloat

It has texture but really great!
This plant- based protein powder was a bit gritty at first, so I was not a fan, however after some trial and error I discovered I loved it! I am now making my morning smoothies with it using almond milk with plenty of blue berries and strawberries and pineapple. I am really liking the vanilla flavored Protein powder and it gives me a nice healthy boost in the morning. I’d rate it as a five star morning ritual.

Love it for my morning smoothies!
I’ve been using the chocolate version for my morning smoothie for several years and decided to give vanilla a try. And it was just as good—it has a nice kind of butterscotch pudding smell and tastes just as good with my smoothie. It tastes good, has quality pea protein and no sugar (and no toxic artificial sweeteners!)

Tastes great! But pricey.
Tastes great but had to give it only 3 stars for the price. Quite pricey compared to other protein powders with close to same ingredients.

A bit chalky, but not too bad...
So, after trying many different protein powders, I've come to the conclusion that most have their inherent "faults". But, I think it's just the nature of the beast. The worst of them are just sickeningly sweet containing very unhealthy sweeteners (sucralose being the worst), but you can do your own research on these sweeteners as most of them are just not good for the body in so many very bad ways. I believe Stevia and Monk fruit to probably be the safest ones. Now, back to BrainMD...a bit chalky and "pleasantly" not as sweet which for me is a great plus. It blends pretty well in a hand shaker bottle, but I haven't tried it in a blender yet, but would guess it'll blend even better there with fruits or whatever else you'd like to put in there. I got the chocolate flavor, but am going to buy the vanilla and blend them 50/50 in the mornings. That said, I'll probably stick with this one even though it is a bit pricey. OK...UPDATE to my 7/28/23 review; I've found that the powder just doesn't "dissolve" all that well and after drinking it for over a month now, it makes me mildly nauseous all during the day. Just can't take it anymore. I mixed the chocolate and vanilla together, but it didn't help. So, after $120, it's going in the trash. Just not worth the daily nauseous feelings and the price. That said, going back to the drawing board.
