This crankcase breather heater appears to work as intended but due to a warm snap hasn’t been demonstrated to solve my intake airbox icing problem. Installation is a royal pain in the butt, requiring removal of the carburetor airbox which has four screws one of which (bottom center into the carburetor itself) requires removal of a plastic plug from the separator plate on the battery side then you access it using a 12” long 1/4” drive extension with an articulated socket holding a suitable hex bit that fits the screw head. Good luck with reassembly.

Melted air intake hose within a few days of installing it. Thankfully it never started a fire.
