great simple story for the kids - wish it mentioned the cross though - which is the most important part of easter

I got this as a gift for some little ones in the family who are just starting to understand Church. The pictures are nice and bright and the words are few and friendly.The grown ups among us did have to chuckle that how Jesus died is barely glossed-over; this story focuses on the resurrection rather than the crucifixion; however, as it is aimed at youngsters, focusing on the Resurrection is a much nicer topic.

Lovely little chunky book for little hands. I was looking for something with a biblical theme to buy my son for Easter - so he didn't just get chocolate. I was really pleased with this. It tells the Easter story in a really positive non gory way - perfect for my two year old who loves the illustrations.

Bought this book for my grandaughters first Easter, bright and colourfull wanted something that could be kept in the baby box for her with other novalties.

A wonderful introduction to the Easter story for young children. Very well written, simple to follow and quality illustrations. Also a very sturdy board book that will withstand tough toddler handling.
