Helios Storm Lighter

Bought two of these and both of them broke within 6 months. Build quality of components not as high as I would have expected

Bit cheap and plasticy

Does not always light, seems to be getting worse

Lost my previous of three years, spent the last year searching but it was always out of stock.But now we're reunited and it feels so good. Lights first time every time, has a few quirks (always refill the gas with the top open!) but reliable. Definitely a good buy if you're wanting a lighter works in a gale.Arrived promptly too , always a bonus. Unreserved five stars all round.

This is what i call a pub talker quality item, tells a good story but when put to the test is sorely lacking. The cheap flimsy build was a bit of a give away. Less than a week later it has been consigned to a draw in the kitchen on dry land. The lighter only works on the highest gas setting with the ignition system working intermittently. Like the other reviewers state the gas life is pity full needing to be almost constantly attached to a large butane can. If you fancy telling salty sea dog stories down your local london pub then this lighter is probably a way of starting the yarn, although for cutting the yarn later it'll be no use.

Bought for my husband. Very useful

This lighter would not take any gas, even though I used the same butane can as I had used on my old Silva Helios lighter which I had lost. I returned it to the seller and received a replacement, which took the gas the first time I filled it, but then stopped taking gas when I tried to refill it. I therefore returned it to the seller and am waiting for a replacement
