World of Eric Carle, Animal Tales Sound Storybook Treasury - Play-a-Sound - PI Kids

I love Eric Carle and this book always brings smiles to little faces! The illustrations/paintings are so fun and vibrant and the animal sounds are very exciting for babies and toddlers to hear. When they are able to push the images themselves to make the sounds.. it’s a very proud moment for them😉. Books can help create and sustain wonder. There are so many beautiful ones..and this is a classic.

Arrived a few days ahead of schedule, all electronic buttons work, no wear and tear at all really (for being a used book at 3$ instead of 22$ it was a hell of a deal) would gladly by from this thrift store again. As for the book my toddler LOVES it. Animal sounds are clear and entertaining to him, there is also some weather sounds for storms and rain. And some random buttons for up and jump and a weird musical cues (overall less then 5 semi pointless buttons) it’s a good one for toddlers :) ADDED INFO : okay so the back is so heavy it’s completely split into two . Not the sellers fault- it’s just seen that much use... repaired it with cloth and electrical tape we will see how it does.

Really excellent quality, teaches my granddaughter her snimal and sounds

I gave this book to my little boy as he usually looks at it in youtube. The look on his face when he received this book is priceless. No words can describe the feeling of happiness on his face. It was an amazing experience for me as well. This book, he bring wherever he goes. Because of the hard bound cover, it withstood his constant abuse. Volume and clarity of the sounds were amazing.

This really holds the interest of a toddler who loves animals, animal sounds, and pushing buttons! Good sound quality, and it's nice to have something to read about the animals instead of just labeled pictures.

The grandkids always enjoy Eric Carle sound books. The older one reads the stories and the younger one likes to just push the buttons and listen and then say what the animal is. The sound is always nice and clear and the photos on the buttons are easily recognizable. As an added bonus these were offered at a great holiday price.

Battery came dead

Got this for my 1.5 y.o. for the holidays. She was initially scared of the sounds (which are pretty loud and not volume adjustable). We read it several times without hitting the buttons. Then I would occasionally push some of the buttons for her. Later she got bolder and started playing with it by herself, pushing them at random and perusing the book. Now she has the positions of every button memorized and loves this book. We call it the Big Book and it was in the daily rotation for weeks. We still pull it out from time to time, and she is able to play with it independently as well as have us read the stories to her. Totally worth the money and shelf space. 10/10 would buy again.

First and foremost, you get a lot for your money. Many sound books come with 5-10 sounds, but this book is very generous on that front. It is also nice and big (usually everything seems smaller than the adverts), and the pages are lovely and sturdy (very useful for coping with the destructive hands of a 2yr old who's current aim in life is to attempt to destroy/rip/tear everything they come into contact with). The sounds themselves are also quality.... I never knew what a fox/kangaroo/etc sounded like! I'd definitely recommend this as a great learning tool for your child, or as a decent gift to someone else's child that you like (i'd get a cheap and less cheerful one for someone I wasn't so keen on).

Disappointing. The sound book does not work. I had also relaxed the battery but it does not work either. Tried contacting the seller but no reply. Started return process but I had not gotten any refund yet.

Hugely impressed. What a wonderful book. A lot of sound books are tied to a brand, Eric Carle is a brand I know but this is very special compared to say, a peppa pig or Disney sound book with 5 buttons. 20 rhymes, and 39 buttons. Over the moon and I haven't even shown it to my Son yet!!😀
