Easy to install
My skill in soldering are poor!! After a couple of minutes i was able to hook a pack of 3 3.7v 10kmha batteries. This little chip worked great. It resisted my soldering and it give me not only fast charhing but also fast dischargin. Recommended for your dyi proyects

Love these boards!
These boards are fantastic! I use them all the time and have never had any issues with any of them. If I see the HiLetgo brand when I'm searching for any small electronic bits and bobs, I usually buy them. Solid quality across the brand it seems. I love the auto-on feature of these boards. They work very well for all of my battery powered DIY projects.

Poor Conversion Efficiency.
This product claims "92.5% conversion from 3.6V to 5V2A" but doesn't get it. I put it to the test when receiving the unit. My personally-supplied battery charges up with 20wh @ 18W input, but only discharges 13wh down @9W (5V1.8A) output, which is quite poor. That is nowhere near 92% conversion efficiency. The unit also gets surprisingly warm when discharging, which is probably where the missing conversion efficiency is. I then repeated the experiment and got the same results again. I would not recommend this product as there appears to be quality issues in the build.

New boards must be “unlocked”
I see several reviews declaring the product defective because after connecting the battery or power supply it won’t charge and only blinks 25% charge. This is because the board is locked so it doesn’t get damaged when building building the power brick (soldering the battery to it). After building the charge brick and attaching the batteries you must attach the board to a USB charging source. This will “unlock” the board and it will immediately start working (ie charging when you attach devices that need power)

Working as expected
It has charged the battery quickly, and it triggers fast charge on the devices i have tested. In process now of 3D printing a case. But so far so good. For the price, its totally good.

Didn't work...
.. which was a shame, because I really wanted them to. I've got a bunch of the smaller modules, and they all but one worked great (oh, and the one I accidentally hooked up to the battery backward). The only reason I'm not doing 1 star is because the other units worked fine.

Not charging the batteries
Not charging the batteries. Checked reviews from other buyers that the module might be in lock-out mode. tried reset the unit , connecting to a charger but only see 0.21 A going thru at 5V. Wondering is there any instruction to solve it. I don't think the unit is faulty but might be still in sleep mode.
