My child is 8 years old & I know this will be one of her best presents! She is going to love it! As an adult, learning to draw, this book truly is amazing in my personal opinion. Explains drawing in such a (easy) way, that one actually manages to draw a dog that for once does not look like some un-identifiable scary creature. From real life examples to funny/comic drawings- super easy to follow instructions and SO very helpful for one that never truly drew anything simply because I always said " I can not draw". THIS book busts that myth and I would really highly recommend it to anybody wanting to learn how to draw and/or have someone explain how to draw easier and more confident with simple guidelines that really work. Definitely an awesome book for kids, but certainly one for adults as well !

My son loves this book. We took it on a road trip and it kept him busy for a few hours. The step-by-step is really helpful and there’s so many things to draw from this book.

The paper material is a nice thick stock, feeling really nice between the fingers, and takes the abuse of a younger child a lot better than the thinner materials you would find in the big box stores. The illustrations are all nice and bold, giving the child good lines to stay within and are fun to color. I would highly recommend these for parents looking for something to keep their kids busy while on long car trips, learning how to color properly, and easily learn how to draw in general.

We absolutely love this book! How to Draw Anything: 300 Drawings has provided us with lots of entertainment as a family and is one of those books that everyone can enjoy, regardless of age or drawing ability. It’s particularly great for travelling, as it’s easy to take along and gives everyone something fun to do. We’ve also used it when we’re out at restaurants while waiting for food, and it’s been a great way to keep everyone entertained without reaching for a phone or tablet. What I really like is that it works for all generations in our family. The drawings are fun and easy to follow, so everyone can have a go. Of course, the results aren’t always quite as impressive as the examples, but that’s honestly half the fun! We’ve had some really good laughs comparing our drawings and seeing how differently everyone interprets the same picture.
