Well made, functional, super lightweight, and perfect for travel.
This is going to be the perfect travel light stand. I am a professional photographer, and I travel recreationally pretty often. I always have my Sony A7 with me, and I like to take one or two strobes with me and a couple small modifiers in the event a photoshoot opportunity arises (almost always does). Steel folding light stands are a pain to travel with, take up a bunch of room, and don't travel well. I recently bought a Godox "travel" stand which is really nice. It's compact, sturdy, and extends via center pole and leg extensions just like this one. It's steel construction so it's a bit heavier, and it seems to have more pinch points and a little clunky feel compared to the Ulanzi. The Ulanzi is aluminum, so significantly lighter. The telescoping pole assemblies are "keyed" so they don't rotate within each other. This feels quite a bit smoother and they stay aligned better. The Godox overall extended height is slightly taller than the Ulanzi, but that's about the only advantage it gets. I could almost buy 3 of the Ulanzi stands for the cost of a single Godox so if this thing holds up it's a monster of a value.

Love these!
I do weekly live streams for baseball games, I purchased 4 of these items for holding Nearstream VM46 cameras and a Starlink mini satellite internet. We have been using them almost a year now and could not be more happy for the price. They are lightweight and durable with easy functioning. I have probably broken them down and put them back up 100 times now and they still hold up strong. I would keep a allen wrench set handy as that's the only thing I've needed over the last year, every so often the legs might need to be retightened. The locking leg functions perfectly, allowing for different heights and allowing the base to be super stable or taller instead. When it comes to how stable the stands are I can only say that with an item as heavy as our starlink mini (2.5lbs) the item at full extend has minor sway in 10-15mph winds. When I have my 4k camera attached to it and at 75% extend it does have minor sway but nothing that on the image would make you frustrated. Overall if I needed to order more of these I wouldn't for a minute look elsewhere.

High quality!! Perfect for ugc creators!
As a content creator I have used a handful of stands and I honestly all they all seemed the same until I opened this one. I had purchased a light for my ugc work and needed a stand that is strong enough to hold it. This is just that and the quality is nothing like ive seen before. The latches and locks are so much better made them the others i have and I will def recommend this to anyone who needs a good stand!!

Really good, but not the best.
The stand is sturdy and easy to transport. I got it three days ago and have used it every day since I got it. There are a couple of downsides to it: 1. The base width only has two options: when unfolding the legs, the first base option is not wide enough and the other is too wide. While working with it on the first option, my stand fell over with my flash and umbrella attached. While working on it with the second option, the height would not extend as far up as I was hoping for. 2. It does not have a bag to carry it in. Not a deal breaker by any means, but it would have been nice to have a bag to protect it a little more during transport with all my other equipment. 3. The base legs are a little tricky to collapse. On day three of owning it, I got it down and can do it quickly. The first couple of days, it took a little longer as it seemed the legs got a little stuck and the latch wouldn't release. 4. While on the narrow base option, the legs don't fully lock in place. It locks the top part of the legs in place, but the bottom part of the legs don't lock, so while moving the stand, it could easily fold under and topple. (Not sure if that makes any sense.) Compared to my other light stand, this is so much better, but it could use some improvements. Or maybe I spend a little more to purchase one that doesn't have these issues. I like the price on this product and am okay with the imperfections.

Great portable stand for travel โ lightweight but not the most stable
I needed a small, portable light stand I could travel with, and this one does the job. Itโs super easy to use and set up, and it extends high enough to work well as a key light stand. Just keep in mind that stability isnโt its strong suit โ because itโs so lightweight and travel-friendly, it can wobble a bit. For portability, though, itโs great.

Great value
These stands remind me of Dolica tripods, they seem to be made by the same people but I could be mistaken. They seem sturdy and well made, if they are built like the Dolica tripod I had before I gave it to my Daughter-in-law, they should last a very long time. I use them for my Canon speedlights/Pocketwizards Plus IV's, so not too much weight. I haven't set them up with a softbox yet so don't know how they'll hold up with speedlight, radio/trigger and softbox, should use a sand bag or other type of weight to maintain stability when fully extended. And they fold down very compact that I can fit them into the same carry bag as my JTL background tripods (very thick and heavy) and my four section cross bar for the backdrop. I will certainly want a couple more.

Versatile
I love how light this is. I can bring it in a carry one when folded and is small enough yet perfect for a lot of scenarios. I have even used it as a mic stand.

Good and light weight
Lightweight light stand, and works good for most scenarios. Might not work for heavy and windy situations

I like this ulanzi tripod and its folding size
With small factor like this expect a little wobble but the folding size is phenomenon as it fits perfectly on my carry-on luggage. Buy this you wont regret it.

Compacto y portatil
Lo tengo hace casi un aรฑo, es muy facil de llevar, siempre lo uso con un Speedlite y un Difusor de domo ML-CD15 de godox y todo bien, incluso aguanta un AD200 con un softbox de 65cm.
