I’m genuinely impressed with this premium dry shampoo from Drybar. From the first use, it completely refreshed my hair and absorbed excess oil without leaving any heavy residue or chalky look. One of the best dry shampoos I’ve tried. It actually absorbs oil and makes my hair look freshly washed instead of just masking it. It adds great lift at the roots, which makes my hair feel fuller, and it doesn’t leave that heavy or chalky residue some dry shampoos do. The scent is really nice too—fresh and clean without being overpowering. Perfect for stretching a blowout or refreshing second- or third-day hair.

I have been using this dry shampoo for over 10 years but sadly I don’t think I can justify purchasing again. First I had an issue where the product would not come out even though the can was full. Cleaning the nozzle did not solve the situation and I eventually had to throw it out before it was empty. I still gave it another shot, but this time it is spraying AIR. Again, it feels like there’s still product in it, but it’s spraying just straight air. Not sure if they switched can manufactures or what but I don’t think I can justify this price for a product that is so unreliable.

This is my go-to dry shampoo. It does a great job absorbing excess oil and leaving my hair looking refreshed without needing a full wash. One of the things I love most is the scent—it smells amazing and honestly unlike any other hair product I’ve tried. It also doesn’t leave much visible residue, which is a big plus. If there is any slight white cast at first, it’s easy to blend in by just massaging it with your fingers. Overall, it makes my hair feel clean and gives it a nice refreshed look between washes.

Updated review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Try the Sangria! It is amazing and works so well. Disliked the coconut formula so much it nearly put me off Drybar dry shampoo all together. It was completely lacking on what it was originally designed to do. I liked the original because it was super effective but was a bit musky and I was looking for a better scent. My faith has been restored. Absolutely love the Sangria and lives up to the original formulation with a terrific fresh strawberry/ mango scent and leaves your hair wonderfully soft, full, and soaks up any oils for fresh day two hair. Old review: Coconut ⭐️⭐️ I have been using Drybar detox original dry shampoo for years but I saw there was a new scent and absolutely wanted to try it. Who knew they had changed the formula so much that it is completely ineffective as dry shampoo. You might as well not use any at all. Trust me when I say stick to the original formula. This new formula does not work at all. Two stars only because I actually like the scent. Sorry Drybar this is a massive fail.

I like the original version of this shampoo and I feel like for some reason this one doesn’t work as well. I feel like I have to use more to see the results with this one than I do with the original dry dry shampoo. With that said it still works great and smell smells good just not as great as I’ve found the other one to work.

I would 1000% recommend the Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo Spray. I love how my hair feels refreshed, light and airy with lots of volume. A little goes a long way. It doesn’t leave any residue nor does it smell like chemicals like most other brands do. It actually has a wonderful floral scent to it. It’s definitely high quality and worth every penny!

This works great between shampoos. It has a strong scent, but I found it pleasant and it does wear off. It refreshes my hair in my part and along my forehead hairline where I tend to sweat. It didn’t leave much residue behind either. I’ll order a second one soon for traveling.
