Coal Scuttle Bucket Hod With Shovel Antique Brass Finish Fireplace Accessory

Ordered two of these coal buckets less than two years ago. In fact, we ordered the second as we were initially so pleased with the look of them. But unfortunately, as you can see from the pictures, both buckets failed catastrophically, with the bottom falling out of them. The two buckets failed in the same way within days of each other, with the rivets/welds giving way. Sadly, the first bucket gave way when it was loaded with coal and spilt all over our cream carpet - lovely! Reading the reviews, I notice that another customer experienced the exact same issues with this product, reporting the same method of failure. This therefore suggests that these products are not fit for purpose. Contacted the vendor who refused to accept any responsibility for selling sub-standard products and instead suggested that we were to blame for the poor upkeep of the product (like using it to store coal!). Poor product. Worse customer service. Stay away.

Arrived promptly and looks good. A touch darker than I thought but overall very happy. Perfect for a cottage room.

Lovely colour and good quality. The coal shovel adds something to the overall useability and look of the product. I have a log burner and this is ideal, looks good and is sturdy
