Link must defeat evil at every turn in his perilous quest to help Princess Zelda! Once upon a time, wizards tried to conquer the Sacred Realm of Hyrule. The Spirits of Light sealed the wizardsโ power within the Shadow Crystal and banished them to the Twilight Realm beyond the Mirror of Twilight. Now, an evil menace is trying to find Midna, Princess of the Twilight Realm, and the fragments of the Shadow Crystal to gain the power to rule over both the Twilight Realm and the World of Light. Link and Midna journey toward Death Mountain, seeking a power that can save Hyrule from the Shadow King. In the face of so many obstacles, Link must steel himself to overcome his own doubts and to find Ilia and the other villagers kidnapped by the forces of evil. But even if Link can defeat these challenges, he still has to find the shards of the Shadow Crystal. The quest continues in the Shadow Realmโฆ Review: I want to eat, consume, devour this manga 10/10 - I am waiting on volume 2 to come so I am still on the cusp of immersing myself inside this retelling: an absolute favorite Zelda game of all time (next to Wind Waker and others)! I enjoyed Himekawa's Zelda mangas immensely during my childhood, and so far I love this one already. it's definitely dark so I'm glad to discover it as an adult, I'm able to appreciate it more. I have to say, I was a bit put-off by Link's outgoing and mischevious personality at the start, since I'm used to him being not only the silent hero, but also a quiet ranch boy with an admirable work ethic, and the spirit of the hero. Think Mathew Cuthbert from Ann of Green Gables. In my head, he's always been a wholesome guy who doesn't have much to say, yet is an amazing listener. I still really appreciate the path they took with Link by giving him a backstory and adding a layer of depth, I also like to think of this as an alternate reality, one that adds a different spin from the TP world we've grown to love. I've felt so many emotions while reading this manga, so much nostalgia and excitement. As another reviewer pointed out, it really feels like I'm falling in love with Twilight Princess again. Review: Must have for any Twilight Princess fan. - I've loved the Legend of Zelda series since the original game, which I played as a kid. The Twilight Princess game was a great gritty and realistic (or as realistic as a fantasy game can get) telling of a Legend of Zelda game. This manga is a great retelling of that game. It gives a bit of back story to each of the characters that was missing from the game and provides Link a bit of depth that is lost in the game due to his being a silent character (that's right Link finally found his voice). While I'm sure that the game's story writers didn't originally see the story in this way (while I'm sure they approved after seeing this view), I'm sure that they would change it to be more like this. I strongly suggest this series for any Legend of Zelda fan.

Great book
Great book, my older teen loves to read manga and collects certain ones. Well, this is definitely one of those books itโs well-made(itโs not a flimsy book), the art style, pictures and story are beautiful. Great, as personal or a giftable item.

Definitely worth reading, even if it's borrowed from the library.
It's very interesting to see the direction that Himekawa is going with this particular story. I wasn't expecting a verbatim retelling of the game, but the new aspects that are being introduced in each volume is making me love the world and the story of Twilight Princess all over again. And I find it doubly interesting that Himekawa is already over the amount of volumes they've done for prior games like Ocarina of Time. And Himekawa's art style is so pleasing to look at.

Im crying right now
I got attached to and emotionally invested in Link like an idiot and every single one of these mangas makes me progressively sadder Amazing book 10/10 would cry about again Only thing is I feel like the age rating should be higher, thereโs some DARK stuff in this seriesโฆ

Do I have a misprint?
Update: I got a replacement from Amazon that is not misprinted (though I'm 99% sure someone else read it and returned it because the spine is soft). Glad to have it, because I was missing a lot of detail in many of the pictures. I love the story, but I'm trying to contact the publisher to see if I got a bad copy. I'm including picutres, but if you look at the cover and the first half of the book are crooked. It doesn't effect the ability to read it much, but it bothers me. I've also included some pictures of pages inside so you can see how it looks like they are improperly cropped. Am I the only one with this, or are these badly printed?

Great continuation of the Twilight Princess Manga Series
I sure hope the next volume comes out in a timely fashion...we can't wait for the next book. The expansion of the Twilight Princess story through this manga is Awesome and entertaining. Well written and illustrated. We like how the book gets into Wolf Link's mind and into more details left out in the game. If you are a Twilight Princess Zelda fan this is a must read.

Needs review by publisher **Inappropriate content for teens
My tween loves this series but this volume should come with a warning as it talks about suicidal ideation and how to achieve it (slit wrist). Publisher should know better as this particular detail is unnecessary and should not have been included in this book aimed at 11yrs up. The character could simply lament the circumstances without having to indicate her intention so clearly - very irresponsible for age range ๐ง

A very good read
I really got into Zelda Mangas and the Twilight Saga is really well done! I love the art, the story, everything and the volume was excellent. Recommend it not only for Zelda fans, but also for people, which like Mangas in general.
