The usual high LG quality at a great price
What a fantastic monitor. Firstly the packaging was robust - which gave me confidence that my monitor arrived undamaged. The screen is bright, crystal clear and with great resolution. The speakers are also good, I haven't tested at full volume but they are perfect for what I need. Connectivity is good as well with plenty of ports on the back and the overall look is simple and professional. Good value for money too - no hesitation in recommending.

Excellent product!
Good energy usage at E rating, good refresh rate for gaming. Auto HDR facility does make a significant difference to how games look, be aware though that if using this monitor with a PC, it really needs a compatible graphics card, if Nvidia, then at least a RTX 3060 with 12Gb on-board RAM (or Radeon RX 6650). Curve of the screen seems just right for arms length focal point. Lightweight and nice size base stand for use on a workstation/computer desk. The 27" screen at the previously stated arms length focal distance does mean that you have to move your eyes to focus on the screen edges, this is a good thing as it reduces eye strain and tiredness as the eyes are not constantly fixed upon one point which often happens with smaller screen size monitors. Connectivity is good with HDMI and USB-C compatibility. Colour accuracy seems fine to me, but that's obviously down to the individual! All this at a very reasonable price. On the down side, the monitor does have a tendency to flash up warnings that it is going into energy saver mode if you have been using it continuously for 5 hours of more, well that's gamers for you! Easy to put together but the tilt action of the stand is a bit fiddly and requires a significant amount of pressure to alter. Overall, an excellent product that I really do recommend.

LG 22" Monitor
Slim, lightweight, full hd 22" monitor for under £50? What's the catch? Well the control stick/power button is a little fiddly, but once you've set it up you don't really need to touch it again. And the power cable could be a little longer. Apart from that it's more than adequate with decent image quality at a great price.

Cheap and cheerful - and recommended
Not that "cheap and cheerful" is a bad thing here - it's just that the stand has one tilt mode (up & down) and no indicator LEDs. So, basic and functional. That's not a problem either - just an indication of where monitor tech has moved to, where a capable HD 22" monitor is priced at almost a throwaway price (£59.00 at the time of ordering). It looks fine with an HD input and showing good color rendition (in "Photo" mode), decent contrast and brightness pretty much out-of-the-box.

Great for the price
Really good if you are looking for a cheap monitor where resolution doesn’t matter that much. Colours are not the most vibrant but great if you need multiple screens to monitor different things..

Great monitor, value for money.
Great monitor, I would say it’s very light weight but if anything that is a bonus. I’d say it’s pretty good value for money as it’s one of the cheaper monitors on the market. I saw this on Amazon and thought it’s just what I need, I use it for work, so can’t comment on whether it is good for gaming. It was easy to set up, just take it out the box and plug in. Simple. The screen size is perfect for what I need it for and it has two HDMI ports out the back to connect your laptop. Overall, I’d recommend this monitor for someone who works from home and what’s an additional monitor.

Very good after a couple of setting changes and it DOES run at 100Hz
I wanted a second monitor to mount above my main one, for my sim racing. This monitor will be used to display timing information, and to show snooker on TV when I'm not racing. When first out of the box, I was disappointed - the picture was lacking in sharpness, brightness or contrast, so my first feeling was that I might be sending it back. I mean, I know you get what you pay for, and this one is not too expensive, but still it needed to look better than this. I tried connecting via HDMI and D-Sub, with no difference in the quality. I also had not found any way to change the contrast or brightness, but I might have missed that in the instructions. Eventually, just as I was deciding this was as good as it gets, I pressed the only button on the back, thinking it would switch it off, and it brought up the settings option. Duh. After switching off the energy saving, and raising the 'super resolution', the picture was instantly transformed into a very good picture. And when connected to HDMI, the refresh rate can be changed in 'Advanced display settings' in Windows, and now, it looks good at 60, 75 or 100Hz. OK, I understand the aim for energy conservation, but at the same time, LG almost lost my faith, as the quality of picture is just too washed out when you first look at the default picture. I used my plug in wattage monitor to see that, on high resolution and with energy saving turned off, this monitor is using less than 14 Watts while the snooker is on TV, which is very good indeed. Compared to my 15yr old 19 inch monitor, which weighed over 8Kg and used 35W, this 21.5 inch LG is just 2Kg in weight and uses less than 14W, so with just a couple of setting changes, I'm now glad I bought it. Only one other complaint: - there are never any wall mount screws provided - you could at least tell me what diameter screw and what the max safe length should be. (It needs four M4 screws about 10mm length for anyone that wants to know). But in the end it's worth 5 stars for value and quality, once it's set up to your liking.
